Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose mechanical engineering because I loved physics. Faculty: student ratio is around 1:90. Faculty are laureates and Phd graduates from various other IITs and foreign universities. Exams are taken every 1.5 months and if you score around average marks in the class you'll get a satisfactory grade.

Class Size : 88Course Fees : INR 224000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies come for various roles like HFT finance core consulting to the campus. However, fewer companies come to campus for internships as compared to placements. Companies are mostly open for circuital brands and high stipends are given to students from these branches only.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Many companies in various domains like HFT, Finance, Consulting, core, analyst, management, and product management come to campus and offer a satisfactory amount of seats to students. In recent placements, the highest offer was made to a student of 4 crores pa by Jane street. Around 70-80% of students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure includes tuition, hostel, and gymkhana fees. Various scholarships are thereby many NGOs and scholarships for students with less than 5 lacs annual income are also there. And for less than 1 lakh annual income students, tuition fees are nil

Campus Life :

Life on campus is very happening. Yearly many fests are conducted by different student bodies on the campus. Among all Tryst (technical fest) and Rendezvous (Cultural fest) are the most famous and are Asia's largest fest. We have a central library which houses books of every kind. Amenities for sports and extracurriculars are provided and these activities are promoted through various competitions organised by respective clubs

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are satisfactorily nice but they are old and do not have ACs but you can keep your own coolers and heaters. The mess menu is diverse and is very tasty, hygienic and healthy. Hostels are automatically provided to you by the admin at the time of admission

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

Admission is done through an exam called JEE advanced. Application forms are released every year on jee official website. Reservation is also there according to standard govt norms. Application fees are around 1500 for general and half of it for female and reserved categories.

Explore as much as you can in your college life.

Placement Experience:

Placements at DTU are good, even in core branches, but students must have the necessary skills. At DTU, over 300 companies visit, offering decent packages. The highest packages can reach crores (of course, these are international packages). Some students also prefer to pursue master's degrees or MBAs after their degree. From the third year, students are eligible for on-campus internship opportunities, and in the fourth year, they are eligible for placements. It is definitely beneficial, but you must have skills and knowledge of your subjects. Strong communication skills are also essential.

I wanted to learn coding and that's why i chose btech in computer science at igdtuw. the curriculum is not designed from the perspective of preparing you for real-world application, instead it solely depends on what should be taught at a university based on the branch. the area of improvement could be removing the unrelated subjects in the first year of engineering because no one actually learns anything from that and instead, there should be related subjects. exams are held twice a semester, making it four times a year

Delhi's second IIT, DTU

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

Placement Experience:

The college is known for its placements, it has great placement opportunities. The companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Uber, Walmart, Wipro, and many more visits the college for placements and offers more than 30 lacks package. The highest package offered to a student was 59. 45 lacks in the year 2021 and the average salary package was 19.15 lacks , the highest package was Google. The college provides internship opportunities as well and it gets started from the beginning of 3 Rd year of students, students in their 2 nd year also got internship opportunities. so almost all students get placed and if someone still does not get any placement so they have the opportunity to do higher study in Mtech. The college provides higher study options to students, this includes Mtech and Ph.D. courses and many more. So you can go to this college.

DTU might be better

Placement Experience:

From the end of the 4th sem and starting of the 5th sem students can get internships easily they are eligible for placement just after the 3rd year many students get placement in the same companies they are interning in. Many companies visit the campus to take interviews n every year and give many offers to the students. The last highest offer was around 1.2 crores Nd average is around 25-30lakhs. College claims 100% of students get placed but the reality is actually around 90% get placement actually others. My plans after getting the degree will be to become the richest person in my family then in the world.

NSUT-Rising and improving everyday

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Major companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Swiggy, Sprinkler, Blackstone etc. A few years back,8 students from NSUT got a staggering package of 1.25 Crore from Google. The average package for tech branches is around 17-18 lakhs per annum. In tech branches, it has a humbling record of 100 percent placements approximately. As of now, I'll like to do my master from abroad after completing BTech from NSUT
