Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.com(commerce) course because I want to become CA so, I chose this group. For the morning shift, they are 8 to 10 faculty members are available and they highly qualified faculties and did more research in their subject. Student in one class is around 70 to 80 students. During exams, they follow rules and regulations strictly there will be three faculties in one classroom, and normal to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

After my batch, only the internship came so I could not attend the internship. But I did a project during my final year, the project about the metro survey in Chennai. It was a group of people in one group of 4 members. We took the survey in the Chennai metro for 3 days and submit to our college faculties.

Placement Experience :

From the 4th semester exam, the student is eligible for a placement campus interview. In our college, mega campus interview happen and all south college students participated in our college campus interview Some campus interview companies are LIC, Muthoid finance, and HDFC. 20% of people were selected in campus interviews. After my degree, I going to do CA intermediate exam and attend some government exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the morning shift people the fee is 9000rs per year and for the evening shift around 35000rs per year. The exam fee is 1500rs for per semester. Computer science students have to pay lab fees and exam fees. In our college scholarship is available for those who could not afford the fees they can apply for a scholarship. Sometimes during pandemic times like corona period, the college reduced the exam fees. They are more campus interviews in our college the best campus interview company is LIC.

Campus Life :

Rotrap club and Ncc and NCA club are there in our college. Yearly in even semester, our college will conduct the annual sports event and culture. Sometimes the department itself contacts the cultural and sports event. Mostly in our college extracurricular activities happen frequently on campus. In our department, the Achiver club is social activities it runs by students. In our college, we have an excellent library. The student can take 2 subject books using their ID card and in our college library have all time of books are available.

Admission :

I find the application form on the website of the new college. The application form fee was asked for and paid. I applied for B.Com(commerce) for the morning shift in government quota and its eligibility is 80% mark for CBSE students and 85% for matriculation students. No reservation seats are available only mark-based selection. It's good for the admission process.

The frequency and timings of exams my perspective is depends upon the person studied but all staff are very motivating the students and helping for the internship. Difficulty level is you study a lot means decrease the difficulties but you not studied means increase difficulty
