Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science was established in 1991 by Mohamed Sathak Trust with the sole aim of spreading quality education. The college is affiliated to Madras University and approved by AICTE. It offers 20 undergraduate and 11 postgraduate, 3 Diploma courses and 6 research programs to over 4854 students.

The college has produced several University rank holders over the years, across the streams. This is because the students are exposed to high-quality training and practice by the well-qualified staff. The college infrastructure, with its hi-tech and modern labs also enables students to experience real-work environments.
The library has a collection of over 15000 volumes, 25 technical journals and magazines and has a Delnet subscription.
Hostels are provided for girls and boys separately. Free Transport arrangement is provided for pick up and drop from the hostel to college. Library with religious and other important books are available for the benefit of the inmates. Medical care during emergencies is also provided for all the inmates. Generator facility is also available to meet the power cuts and shutdown.
A beautiful mosque is located at the college premises for making prayer. 5 times prayer is conducted along with Jumma prayer on Friday in the mosque. Iftar arrangements are also provided in the mosque to break the fasting during Ramzan month. For girl students and lady staff separate prayer hall facility is provided in the college itself for daily prayers.
Indian Overseas Bank and its ATM is located in the college premises for the benefit of students and staff. The students can remit their college and other fees in the bank easily and use the ATM facility to withdraw the money easily without wasting their valuable time unnecessarily in standing long queues.
An auditorium with a capacity of 600 persons is located near the entrance of the main building of the college. The facilities such as LCD Projector for presentations, elaborate Audio arrangements are provided for the conduct of functions such as Seminar & Symposia efficiently.

I have never applied to any other colleges as I only choose the following college because it is near my home and there is good transport facility around my region where there is facility of bus travel or share auto travel but during floods it is depressing but then the roads around the college are not safe as there is drainage system, the admission process of the course is not that complicated we have to fill the form and then we have to pay the first semester fees and then get enrolled directly but atleast the 12th exam percentage should be around 50%

I joined this college because of late admission. This college doesn't have any eligibility. They don't see the results of the exams. They don't encourage or motivate that. The admission process is very easy to do. The admission is good. Don't have any specific cutoff.

For course eligibility we have to write management quota exam minimum pass marks it's very mandatory for college admission in Chennai, every one maintain this process for joining the colleges in Chennai

The course available is only for 60 students The application form is given to The college. And details about the course will be instructed by particular department staff. admission is done very quickly in the college.
For BSc visual communications you should pass in 12 std. For all courses including Ug and PG, you can get admission from room no.6 (ground floor) on a campus near the principles office. They charge me rs. 300 for the admission form.

The entrance exam is not there. They see only 12th marks and percentages. Application forms are available in college and from march month will start applications providing, fees of 100 to 150 Rs. The admission process is good and very easy in college. Anybody can apply as simple.
No Entrance Exam , Any Ug Qualification is enough for Og course , and 12 th Qualification is enough for UG Course based on the Group you took in 10th Standard. No reservations benefit, but if you are a Studied Ug degree, I don't need to pay admission fees.
No entrance exam, only 12th qualifications enough to join this college. You will get most of the course for any percentage that you have scored in 12th. Even you can get admission if you got arrear in 12th, After clearing the exam to you will allow taking the class.
