Students can sit in campus placements starting from their second last semester.Some phenomenal companies that visited placement last year was BCG , Bain n Co . , Jane Street ,Amazon , Flipkart .Also there are many companies /startups which visit for non tech roles like PM / data (Xpedia) and many more .As for the tech and core roles if you have a CG above 8 you will be sure shot placed . Highest packages go upto 2 crores for quant roles since they are highly paid for .Approximately 81 % of the students get placed , I have personally seen students with a CGPA of even 5 get placed a job of 14 Lakhs per annum .My plans after getting the degree are to work in finance .
