Course Curriculum Overview :

I always wanted to learn to create stuff. And when I had a look into the subjects of mechanical engineering, I kind of liked them. And one thing was obvious: if not mechanical engineering, a mechanical engineer would do great in stand-up comedy. Jokes apart! As I mentioned we are a batch of 67. We have one class advisor. And you may reach out to other professors teaching you as well. Just a calculation: As I've observed, out of the 67 students, less than half of the students would need the help of an advisor. Even if you are an introvert, make sure you are well connected to your batch, so that they let you join their unofficial WhatsApp group. And that's it. Be it submissions or attendance proxies, everything is managed in the group. And when I say group I remember, you would get question banks in a few subjects for unit tests. Yes, tests! We have 2 unit tests each semester. And to be honest, First Year students get a question bank for literally everything. FY is sorted.

Placement Experience :

You can see on the college website itself that it offers campus placements. And stand packages let you earn around 30K/month. Final year, make sure you have good grades or a plan for further education. I don't have the exact number but I feel half of my batch mates would go for off-campus placements, higher education, or remain jobless with this level of confusion in SY. I would prefer working with the best irrespective of the salary. Just want to gain good experience. Then I'd decide to either continue to earn or opt for higher education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fees have remained the same for the last few years. If any issue to pay it, The accounts department should co-operate even if they ask you to pay it tomorrow and you're able to pay it next week. It's just their way of collecting. Every student in the scholarship category is eligible for different scholarships. Seek advice from your HOD, they may help you. That's how I was helped by my HOD. There is an internship cell. But you would definitely find better internships online. I suddenly developed a crazy for journalism and I applied for an internship at THE TIMES NETWORK.

Campus Life :

Not a huge college like the one we see in movies. This might sound funny but my friends have observed that our college building looks exactly like the one in Powers Rangers SPD, which transforms into a very big fight machine. The library is well managed. You can study there. The canteen has limited but tasty things on the menu. No one should be expecting 5-star taste in 20 rupees when I said tasty. No idea about sports but guys be practicing kabaddi. Many clubs just want you to get in.

Admission :

I had an attempt for JEE and MH-CET as well. I expected to get admission on basis of my CET score. But surprisingly, it was my JEE score (65%ile) that got me in. If you belong to a reserved category. You may have to submit additional documents like income proof, caste certificate, and caste validity and they may ask you to log in to the MahaDBT website. If you fail to complete the procedure within the given time, they warn you may have to pay the full course fees. But trust me, they provide enough time for you to issue a new caste certificate/caste validity. So anyways while standing in line for admissions, students are stressed. So just make a note of every document they ask for. Also, carry with along you every document you have (on the day of admission). In case you don't have a few documents issued, the faculty will fully cooperate with you. Just make sure you carry a copy of your admission confirmation(the one which is produced after the admission rounds).

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

Placement Experience:

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

I have also got nearly three placements. Currently, I am working in Accenture with a package of 6.5 lpa. I have experienced a decent placement process which was very systematic in that every or each of the students can get placed. For placements, SKNCOE is the best in Maharashtra.
