Course Curriculum Overview :

I have an electronics background in my 2nd puc, so I selected ECE stands for Electronics and communication engineering. The faculty and students ratio is good. Most of the faculty at the presidency university have Ph.D. Exams were conducted two and a half months once which are relatively easy to pass but hard to get high marks.

Placement Experience :

Students from the seventh semester are eligible for campus selections in presidency university with the given cutoff CGPA. There is at least 85% of placements in presidency university. My plans after getting placed in a company are to learn new computer languages and improve my experience.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Since I was admitted to this college through KCET my annual fee is reduced to a significant amount. SSP scholarships and NSP scholarships are granted to the students. Campus selections are the best part of the presidency university with a minimum of 85% placements.

Campus Life :

Cultural fest and musical fests are connected each and every year. The college campus is very spacious and with a lot of greenery and place to sit in shades and a large auditorium and cafeteria students can enjoy there study as well as other sport activities.

Admission :

I had completed my 2nd PUC at Nagarjuna PU college and attended the KCET examination and after the results were announced, I applied to the presidency university Bangalore through the KCET portal and was selected by the presidency university.

Other Applied Colleges

Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology - [NCET] | Ph.D. Electronics and Communications Engineering

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

Placement Experience:

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
