Course Curriculum Overview :

It didn't help me much because the university didn't have any practical sessions like for programming we have labs but none of them were practical sessions so I don't think I have very nice decisions influenced by university

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

The annual fee for this program is 2.5Lakh INR. Scholarships are available for students like SSP, from government and CET students are paid very less fee compared to others. For accommodation, For a two sharing, the annual fee is 1,80,000 For a three sharing, the annual fee is 1,35,000

Campus Life :

They have very good clubs in the university, many many clubs they entertain, make you confident, Everything, sports are also very good in the university. We have coaches from all over India who helps everyone so good

Hostel Facilities :

For two sharing it is like 1,80,000 per annum, everything is included For three share it it like 1,35,000 per annum For now they have only these two and three shares That too 1km away from the university

Hostel Fee : INR 180000 per year

Admission :

Admission process is pretty simple, You apply for the university You get a call from university for confirmation and they schedule your interview Later you get a interview call. If you're selected you get provisional confirmation for the university

Faculty :

They're friendly and good, Marking structure is for 200 marks Breaking it down like 50 for mid, 50 for internals and 100 for end term Passing criteria is 45 for 150 (both end term+midterm) It is bit easy to pass

Night Life :

We don't have hostel in the campus we have it outside like 1km away . The timings are it's open only till 6:30pm later no one is allowed out or in. They provide transport for the university from the hostel to again back

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
