Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically, I was interested in electronics, and my stream in 11th and 12th was electronics. There were a good amount of faculties. The faculty: students ratio was 1:3. The faculty whom I encountered throughout my course was M.Tech graduates. Exams were moderate.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 81630 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are not up to the mark. We'll find more sales(voice jobs), marketing jobs, and fewer IT AND CORE sector jobs. The highest package will be around 12lpa and the average package is between 5lpa-6lpa.80-90% of students will be placed during placements.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Basically, I joined through Kcet so the fees were the same throughout the course. There's no fee hike for early admissions, the fee is fixed for four years. There is every possibility for a scholarship and campus placement with a good package.

Campus Life :

The campus environment is good, it feels like you are in an agricultural field. It's so eco-friendly. The college conducts a fest every year in the month of October or November. The library is the best place on campus, you can find books related to the courses and interesting journeys. There are many tech clubs and cultural clubs on campus. Presidency University conducts sports day every year. There are many sports teams in the University, cricket teams, football, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, etc. You can participate in any of these teams, but you have to go through a selection process.

Admission :

Got the college through Kcet. The admission process was smooth and simple. The cut off was around 35,000, I got a seat for admission in the 1st round of Kcet seat allotment. The college has a good infrastructure and it is located on the outskirts of Bengaluru City.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
