May be food not that satisfactory. Unfortunately I could not strike by any of the issues. I have no complaints. Campus gave me life that's all.
Entrance Preview :
BITSAT for PhD admissions. I am so passionate about my subject Physics and wanted to acquire some good exposure in research perspective.
Course Curriculum Overview :
First step is to find supervisor with respect to your interest and potential. Once supervisor is decided then go for problem defining in the area of research that you are chosen. Once problem is decided then you should take few courses that are essential to understand the basics and methodology of approaching the problem that is being defined. On parallel you will also have literature review which is an important process to know the depth of the problem and solution methods. Once you get idea of your problem then write up a proposal and submit to the department.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes indeed our institute offers internship opportunities for other universities like IISER, IIT, NIT s in India and abroad as well. Internship stipend would be depending upon the area of the work, Project, department and institute.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are quite good. We do get many many reputed companies like, google, oracle, Microsoft, capgemini, L&T, Ola, amazon, flipkart and etc., Minimum package would be about 10 LPM. And there are some exceptional cases who could bag more than 1 crore even. Most of the batch people max percentage they choose these placements. And few will go for their further studies like MS, MBA, PhD. Few will go for civils preparation.
College Events :
Our BPHC is name for events. We do celebrate events unlike the other universities. We students have union system operating through different clubs. Our PRO club is very strong and they will be engaged in getting out sponsorship for the events. The names of the events, Cultural- PERAL, Tech- ATMOS, sports- ARENA.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is quite expensive. But if you compare with other institutions like Manipal, AMITY, NITs and IITs ours is more of same. Fee is okay when you consider the facilities that they are offering, infrastructure and placements.Hence fee structure is not expensive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have very good loan facilities. The moment you get admission letter from BITS Pilani almost all the banks will ready to offer you upto 30 lacks for your admission which is not a big process to obtain loan facility. And institute will also provide merit scholarships .
Campus Life :
Our campus life is pretty amazing. Girls boys ratio would be around 40:60. We enjoy like anything on campus. Full parties and fun time through the semester days, When it comes to subjective matters we will be forming into groups and make discussions out. Our campus has got students from all parts of India and few from foreign as well. Lot of diversity in regions. We celebrate all regional festivals as if its our festival since it happens on our campus. We enjoy living and leading life on campus.
Hostel Facilities :
We do not have sharing basis accommodation. We have single occupancy based. And our campus has accommodation for 5000 for both boys and girls. Accommodation is included for BE, ME, B Pharma, M Pharma, and PhD. Accommodation is really cool. In hostel they provide Cot, cupboards, LAN for internet, study table and chair. Fee for hostel accommodation is 17,700 /- Rs. per sem and food separate.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our Alumina is really huge. No matter which part of world you go either for travel. We have CUG networks to communicate and share. As soon as you rise your quire you get response or else you will be directed to some one by means of tagging you to some one. Our Alumina is such a huge network.
Exam Structure :
Exam schedule is really nice. We have open book and closed book system. It depends upon the course instructor and course structure. Usually in a semester we will have 2 mids and final one which is comprehensive. And the labs that we have in a particular sem are pertained to the subject that we take in a sem.
Admission :
First step notification, secondly shortlisting name based on academic profile, third step is written followed by interview. The written score and interview decides admission. Once interview process is over they will declare results on website after few days of schedule.
Faculty :
Ours is international standard institute. One of the premier institutions in India. The faculty are highly potential in both the teaching and research areas. Most of the faculty from IITs and NITs. Few from renowned International foreign universities.
