The Institute offer abundant of opportunities to the students so that they can get a highly relevant knowledge. Students can get the opportunities to explore their field to the maximum potential and authority support that spirit a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course of the college is very vast which includes a deep knowledge of both practical and theoretical field. Lab reports and seminars are the part of curriculum along with the thesis updates which a student needs to give the guide from time to time.

Placement Experience :

M.phil is considered to be one of the highest education possible that a student can achieve. Hence, a student can able to get the job easily. Many firms and field offer good jobs with good packages to all the deserving students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The students who are doing M.Phil or PhD here need not to pay any kind of fee instead government gives them the stipend so that they can look for their expenses. A student can get INR 25000-35000 while doing M.Phil

Campus Life :

The college is full of recreational, extracurricular and enthusiastic activities that boost up the talent and confidence of the students. A Student can indulge in different activities of singing, dancing, quizzes, debates, seminars, speeches etc. Both academic and cultural fest are celebrated with great enthusiasm.

Admission :

This is one of the most prestigious institute of the country. And to get admission here a student needs to follow the procedure of filling an online form that is published by the college every year. Thereafter, an entrance test will be conducted by NTA to get admission to M.phil or PhD program. Then the authorities of the college decide to conduct the interview and on the basis of merit list, a student can get admission easily.

Admission:

Anyone having an M.sc degree can seek admission in the college. A student who has qualified the exam of CSIRUGC (NET) is eligible for the admission in the course. Later for the selection process there is a personal interview session conducted by AcSIR (CSIR-NGRI). The application process is online.

Placement Experience:

We are given many internship opportunities. The students pursuing post-graduation who are in their last semester or second semester can apply for the internships. Each year there are summer as well as winter internships. A certificate is also awarded to the students who successfully complete the internships.

Remarks:

NGRI is really a promising institute for students of doctorate . All supportive professors and all facilities for research makes it more efficient. Library is plus point of institute which is big. All subject related books are available in library. I highly recommend geochemistry / geological interested students to join NGRI.
