Its a good college providing great placements for college, Nice faculty.

Remarks :

To take admission to PES MCOE you need to score well in the MHT-CET entrance exam, You will be needed a minimum of 90-92 percentile in the entrance exam for a computer science course. After that, you need to fill out the CAP rounds form on the CET portal itself. If you are from outside of Maharashtra you can take admitted to the college from the JEE-MAINS exam but there are very few seats for JEE quota. The admission process is quite simple here After the college gets a lot to you you just need to submit the required documents and fees to the college after that your admission is confirmed. College also provides instalments for the fees if you requested them.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As we know in future there is lots of scope for IT so because of this, I decided to pursue an Information Technology course. The faculty of the department is very nice. They show very much support to the students in both curricular and extra co-curricular activities. There are 160 seats in the IT department each year and around 20 Professors are there for all graduates. Mostly in college, you will see female teaching faculty. Most teachers have done masters some of them have done PhD and some are pursuing a PhD. Exams are quite strict in college but not as that tough to pass as exams conducted by SPPU university.

Internships Opportunities :

College doesn't provide the internship opportunity itself you need to find an internship and submit the report to the college in the second semester of the third year. You can do an internship in web development, Machine learning, and any other field.

Placement Experience :

From the final year, students can become eligible for campus placements. The average placements of students are very good, and companies like HCL, Byjus, TCS, IBM, and Infosys are visiting campuses and recruiting students from various branches. around 80-90 % are getting placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You need to pay the fees of college on time although the college gives you instalments for fee payment if you required it. If you come under Backword classes or your family's annual income is under 8 lakh you get around 50% scholarship from the government of Maharashtra. You can apply for the "Punjab Rao Deshmukh vastigruh scholarship" if you are staying in a hostel.

Campus Life :

Honestly, colleges have very short campuses no playgrounds no place for sitting students. There is only a small cafeteria only. Although the college has an Annual fest "SPANDAN" every year. The college comes with a well-equipped library with a wide range of books provided in MCOE which shall enhance students' knowledge of the course syllabus as well as various entrance exam. The college has may technical and non-technical groups like Pixinsights club App club, ITSA and readers zone club.

Talking about placements, most of the placements occurs in CSE and IT branch, but surprisingly in the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad, the Mechanical branch has the same placements comparatively just the fact is that the package is less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Placement Experience:

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.
