Remarks
The admission process was quite easy. The admission counselors of IILM were very helpful in guiding us through the admission procedure. Most of the first-year courses require you to show your class 10th and class 12th merit. No entrance test takes place. thereafter an interview is conducted which is again easy to get through.
Course Curriculum Overview
IILM has a well-framed curriculum. The faculty members are very helpful. I have opted for the Liberal Arts course which provides me exposure to various subjects such as journalism, political science, psychology, sociology, etc. The teachers are also very well qualified. midterm and end-term exams are conducted and class assignments are given as well.
Internships Opportunities
IILM offers students with internship opportunities in companies such as Wunderman Thompson, Olive Minds Perfect Parenting, Cruces Studios, Cup Shop, etc. The students get a lot of exposure while working in these companies.
Placement Experience
IILM offers good placements in various companies such as Deloitte, Ernst and Young, Reliance, and many more. The highest package being offered is 18 lakhs and the lowest package being offered is 7.5 lakhs. Most students get placements in 2nd and 3rd years. IILM also has a placement committee that helps students in getting placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Although the fees of IILM are a bit high I feel that its worth it as it is not only a private university with better facilities and infrastructure but also has a well-framed curriculum and well-qualified teachers as well. those who have scored 90 % or above get a scholarship of 30% on their fees.
Campus Life
The campus life at IILM is good. Now and then you find events or workshops or fests taking place on campus. students from diverse backgrounds are there and it's fun interacting with them. there are a lot of fun clubs such as the Utsav club which is the cultural club of IILM, the Nazariya club which is the Journalism club, the We-Evolve club which is the Psychology club and many more clubs are also there. the clubs are run by the students.
Interview Experience
The admission process was very easy. first, you had to fill out an application form wherein personal details were asked, a little about yourself as in your achievements, strengths, weakness, hobbies, etc. After your application was approved you will receive an email regarding the same. At last, a personal interview is conducted wherein questions such as why do you want to choose that particular course, describe yourself, and questions related to your course are asked. You could just write a few points which you have to speak about on a sheet of paper. that's all. There's no particular thing that you need to remember or learn for the interview.
