Firstly, I googled all the top colleges and then chose a few of them. I took suggestions from my cousins and family members. After Selecting I visited the college, learned all the details of the college and then joined

Course Curriculum Overview :

MY COURSE IS ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING. I AM VERY MUCH INTERESTED IN ECE SUBJECTS. I GOT TO KNOW THAT ECE HAS BETTER PLACEMENTS ALONG WITH CSE COMPARED TO ALL .. AND IN MY COLLEGE TEACHERS ARE TEACHING THE SUBJECT VERY WELL AND IF WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND A FEW LECTURES CLASS, THEN FOR EXAM AND TO STUDY WE PREFER YOUTUBE, YOUTUBE IS LIKE SECOND COLLEGE, WE LEARN EVERYTHING IN IT, IN MY IDEOLOGY, THOSE WHO UTILIZE ALL THE FACILITIES AND GAINS KNOWLEDGE ARE GOING TO PASS AND GETTING GOOD PERCENTAGE.

Placement Experience :

FROM 6 TH SEMESTER, STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS. THOSE WHO HAVE A GOOD PERCENTAGE AND ARE WITHOUT BACKLOGS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ATTENDING THE JOBS. THE AVERAGE PACKAGE IS 4.5 LPA AND THE HIGHEST IS 11 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid :

AS I JOINED IN MANAGEMENT SEAT IN THE COLLEGE, IT IS HUGE AMOUNT TO PAY FEE. AND DUE TO CHANGING OF STATE, I DON'T HAVE MANY SCHOLARSHIPS, IN MY COLLEGE. OR ELSE I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT AS OF NOW I DIDN'T GET ANY DETAILS. IF I GET A GOOD PLACEMENT THEN MY FEE WILL BE WORTH TO IT OR IT WILL BE WASTED.

Campus Life :

ON MY CAMPUS, THE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES LIKE CONDUCTING PROGRAMS, AND GAMES ARE SO GOOD. RECENTLY, THEY CELEBRATED KARNATAKA RAJYOTSAVA. THEY ASKED US TO COME IN TRADITIONAL ATTIRE, AND THEY CONDUCTED A FEW COMPETITIONS AND GAVE SOME PRIZES, ON THAT DAY WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE COMPETITION KEPT RAGI MUDDE FOR THEM WHICH WAS FAMOUS IN KARNATAKA. MY COLLEGE ENCOURAGES ALL THE SPORTS ACTIVITIES VERY WELL.

Hostel Facilities :

I AM STAYING IN COLLEGE HOSTEL , ALL THE FACILITIES WERE GOOD EXCEPT WIFI AND NETWORK ISSUES . WE ARE SHARING OF THREE IN A ROOM .ROOM WAS VERY PEACE AND FACILITIES ARE AFFORDABLE FOR THE FEE.AND FOOD WAS ALSO NICE, AS THEY PROVIDE YUMMIEST FOOD AND SOMETIMES AVERAGE BUT OVERALL IT'S GOOD

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
