All About IIITD

Remarks :

It was okay. But they take an interview for which you should have experience in programming and a project if not you should at least have an idea of it. Admissions are done via GATB as well as GATE but the fees through GATB are lesser in comparison to GATE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's fine there is a credit-based process you can choose and complete your credit as per your comfort. The subjects are quite varied which is helpful if you are interested in higher studies. also, faculty members are understanding, helpful, and well-experienced.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Both GATB and GATE students will receive scholarships but there is a fee difference from GATB it's 92000 for the entire course while for GATE its 3.81 Lakhs. also, the stipend has a difference the GATB students receive 12000 while GATE receives 12400 per month for 24 months.

Campus Life :

Quite good, everything is there it's just some facilities require you to pay for them. very well sports facilities mess, canteen, swimming pool, gym, friendly people all around. Relevant clubs are their weekly and monthly activities as well as an annual fest.

Placement Experience:

Being one of the top institute of the nation, it offers very good placement but given the scenario of recession in the tech industry there is some slow down in the hiring in placement too. if I am not able to get the placement at the end of the course then I think I won't face any difficulty getting placement on my own but let's see what happens.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this course is good. Professors are supportive in nature. And one year is for project which help to learn new skills and enhance the previous one help to survive in real world. But in that one year there are some subjects which we have to study but it should not be there it should be completely dedicated to project work. Overall this is a very good course which help to train a student to learn technical part of chemistry or polymers. And there are a lot of scope in this field.

The course workload is heavier, so it would prepare you for real-world work. Courses can be chosen from 2nd semester, so you are free to select courses of your likeness. There would be a minor exam and a major exam and a lot of assignments.
