Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very well written and industry oriented. It is based on the rising need of Robotics and AI in India. The curriculum is well planned and will help to gain a lot of knowledge in Mechanics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics and Electronics.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Fee for the first semester is 39,000 Rupees. From the second semester the fee is 23000 rupees. Hostel fees per semester are 13500 rupees Mess fees per semester are 34000 rupees Additionally you will receive a stipend of 12400 rupees per month for a total of 22 months during your MTech if you have qualified GATE
Campus Life :
The experience at IIT Delhi is a one that is filled with enthusiasm. If you are a keen learner then even though the curriculum is tough and challenging, still you'll be able to enjoy the learning process. Environment here is quite helpful. Professors and students all interact with each other and help each other. Apart from studies there are cultural fests like Rendezvous and Tech fests like Tryst. Also there are other sports competitions like inter IIT and inter Hostel etc. Overall it is a very nice atmosphere.
Hostel Facilities :
If you are in M.Tech then most probably you will not receive hostel accomodation during the first semester. But that is nothing to worry about since there are a lot of PG rooms available just outside IIT campus where students can rent rooms at a very affordable cost You will be allocated a hostel from the start of second semester onwards. Once you are in the hostel then it is a completely different environment. You will enjoy the IIT hostel Life a lot.
Admission :
The Admission was based on GATE score or ME, CS, Electronics. Then there was a basic C++ coding round. Then there was a personal interview where they tested fundamental knowledge of Mathematics, Programming, Mechanics. ( Since it is a interdisciplinary program)
Interview Experience :
There was a Programming test. In this test they tested the fundamental coding skills in C++ language. There were a total of 5 questions with increasing level of difficulty. Solving any 3 would probably get you to the next round. The next round was a personal interview where they asked basic questions on Maths, mechanics / CS / control theory
