Remarks :

I have written Jee mains and jee advanced to get into IIT madras all application forms and all details regarding the admission process are present on josaa and very easily accessible It doesn't require any improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The professors are very knowledgeable and inform the concept well. The student-faculty ratio is about 60 and there is a faculty review meeting every month and they take it very seriously. Exams are tough.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee is about 2 lakhs per year and with a hostel fee of 35000 rupees per semester including mess accommodation and everything there is no fee hike policy or none that I know of there are many opportunities.

Campus Life :

The annual tech fest of IIT madras is shastra and the cultural fest is Sarang There are many books and journals in the library. There are various clubs in the institute for all various kinds of co-curricular.

Placement Experience:

3 yr students are eligible to get placed.particularly japanese placements come around that time.and general placements comes in 3rd yr 6th semester! Jsw, Renault Nissan are some of the companies that come! Highest in Japan 32 lpa , general - 12 lpa. 99.99% get placed.

My college allows you to get internships from the 5th semester. Campus placements can be availed 7th semester onwards. The highest package offered was I think about 1cr per year and the average being about 8-9LPA for my course. My plans after my degree is to work.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college .
