Remarks

The admission process was through MHT-CET conducted by Maharashtra government. The admission process was through multiple rounds called as CAP rounds. The cutoffs for various colleges are revised with every upcoming CAP round. Usually 3 CAP rounds are conducted for BE admissions in entire Maharashtra. The whole process of admission was online but the registration process was limited to slected online centres.

I had interest in computer science and chose the field. The faculty:student ratio was 1:60 which needs to be improved. Maximum teachers were M.Tech but need more practical and outreaching in their teaching methods. The term exams were conducted monthly and moderate level to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were rising with every consecutive year of graduation, which needs to be taken care of. The cost of the study included library, labs and bus facilities, etc.But this can be made optional to reduce the cost of the real education.

Campus Life

As the college was new, the idea of tech fest took time to get launched. But eventually it started flowering. Moreover, the college had library but had very limited book stock at its exposyre, which can be increased. The other ammenities like classrooms and labs were fine. The extra curricular activities were just budding in the campus.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

I have applied for 2 colleges 1st st john and 2nd is vartak because they are well known and they have good reviews. Yeah i got rejected from colleges like theem and vartak because of cutoffs.
