Remarks :

The admission process is not so difficult. The application form find on College's official website. There are no reservation benefits. I want to see improvement in the final submission of the admission form.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it has so many scopes. 70% of students chose this course in my city. The teaching methods of teachers in our college are quite impressive. The examination in our college is difficult because of the teacher. They are very strict

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college is a government college so the college fees are not so high. Every middle-class family can afford the fees. Our college provides a UGC scholarship and ISHAAN UDAY scholarship and OBC, MINORITY scholarship.

Campus Life :

The campus life of a student in our college is good. Our college celebrates freshers day, Saraswati Puja, Sankardev Tithi, etc. and we help our teachers to celebrate this festival. ABVP, NSUI, and AASU are social groups for students run by students.

Overall a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took commerce stream after 10th, so the most obvious choice for me was B.Com.(Hons) because of it's wide scope and applicability. This is a very old and prestigious college of Guwahati, Assam. There is not much pressure during the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

My Happy Place

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements . There are many comapnies visited in our college like - Godrej , Axis Bank , Mahindra etc. The highest package was from Gorej which was for 5LPA . On the basis of their interviews rounds they were provided the job .

About my college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love their teachings, I can't speak assamese and when they teach in Assamese I can't understand anything but the teaching is mostly English and Hindi so I'm grateful to teachers, the mark system is crazy, they just gave us whatever they feel like giving, like it always ends with 5 or 0 for eg. 55 65 80 30 etc
