Remarks :
To be eligible, you have to take and clear the KEAM entrance exam. The average cutoff rank for merit seat is 21000, whereas for management it goes till 40000. You can also get in through spot admission or NRI quota. As required by the govt, a stipulated percentage of seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC students. To apply for this college, you have to select this college during the allotment process conducted by CEE, which is done immediately after the publication of the rank. Expect for the NRI seats, where you have to contact the college separately, there is no specific application form to apply.
Course Curriculum Overview :
They are reasonably knowledgeable about their domain of topics. The average faculty-student ratio is 1:50. The Term exams are conducted by the KTU which is the same for all colleges under its control. They are relatively easy if you know the basics well.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by the Career guidance cell. They commonly range from software development domains to others. The common projects depend on the specific needs of the company and may vary. Overall it's pretty easy to land an internship here if you have the skills.
Placement Experience :
The students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The most common companies are TCS, Wipro, IBM, Accenture, etc. The highest package last year was 9LPA. The average salary is 3.6 LPA. All the eligible students are placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For merit seat: 35000/- INR per year, For management seat: 65000/- INR per year, For NRI seats: 100000/- INR per year, Moreover, there are many scholarships provided to students based on their academic performance as well as financial status.
Campus Life :
The annual tech fest is Lumiere. It is generally conducted in the month of February. Various books pertaining to a vast variety of topics are present in the library. The classrooms have all the basic amenities like projectors etc. There are many student clubs like IEDC, IEEE, and Tinkerhub, NSS, etc.
