Remarks :

I gave common entrance exams for UPES- it is a good college but a little bit expensive. I also gave the Common law admission test (CLAT) but got a lower rank than you. I also gave the LSAT but I was rejected in the interview process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because from an early age I was mesmerized by the power of Justice and I want to be a judge too. The student ratio is pretty much in the favour of boys but not by much. I think it should be 6:4 in the favour of male students. The teachers are more than qualified for teaching the students, but sometimes their teaching method was too technical or stiff. Some of the staff lack creativity. Term exams were on a timely basis, final year was a little messed up because of COVID-19. But according to me if you studied you will pass.

Internships Opportunities :

It provides internships in numerous cities, and if opted for internship assistance, you will have to attend that internship. In the first year, I was an intern in an NGO, and it was very helpful as now I understand how an NGO works.

Placement Experience :

The students can only apply for on-campus placements in their last year. As I want to study further, I did not opt for on-campus placements. But I know that if a person is placed he or she is not allowed to sit in another interview. The highest package this year was above 8 lakhs and the average package was a little above 4 lakhs. I want to prepare for LLM

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

After our batch, the fee increased drastically now the newer batch is giving 20000 more per semester than we did. One can get a scholarship based on their 12th percentage and academic performance in college too.

Campus Life :

Annual fests were held in April and May but since 2019 there were no fests because of COVID-19. there is a separate library for each department and it is easier to search for a book in that dedicated library. There are online research websites purchased by the college for helping the students in their research. The frequency of extracurricular activities was very frequent, and many students even forgot to focus on their studies just because of these events. There are various clubs like cyber security club, legal club, art club, etc. But I don't know any website affiliated with our college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in this college as the companies which come in this college is of tier 3 firms which provide the students an opportunity to learn and gain an opportunity to work with them. The level of placements for the students here is in final year as students have to fill the placement cell form and then they if opt in then they will be eligible to sit in the placement. The company here are law boutique firm from delhi, bangalore, mumbai. As the companies here have a package of 4 to 5 lakh annum. And the percentage of students getting placed is not much high as only 20% will be getting placements. And my plan after getting this degree is for masters only.

Placement Experience:

The only thing about my college, that I'm disappointed about. When I joined, the placements were decent, but with passage of 5 years, it has degraded. The average package is still very low, and most of the students who got placed got their placement off campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially, I had a passion for law. Found an established government college, and mostly it was random. Most qualified faculty. Lately been awarded the best law faculty by the Bar itself. The exam calendar was quite disturbed throughout because of Covid

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about the placements here, as this is my 1st year. But in MBA, placements are really excellent like students are placed in ITC, HDFC, Jaro Education, etc. In hotel management, students get selected as training in Hyatt regency, JW Marriott, etc. For MBA highest offered till now is 8.45 lakh PA. But law students also get placed easily as heard from the seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BA LLB course requires aspirants to be hardworking and extremely thorough in their subject and that's the reason why I choose this course. The law degree is an integration of Arts and Law subjects and is of a five-year duration. The course-curriculum of BA LLB degree is such that law, as well as, the arts subjects, are included in each semester. Moreover, candidates are taught about law case studies, moot courts, law internships, seminars, and interactions with retired judges from High courts and the Supreme Court of India. Every semester consist of external and internal examination, as well as viva and assignment, are given .
