Remarks

I have got 88.25 percent in best of 4 subject, I just filled the form and got the admission, it was smooth, admission process was online and just went to college for document verification and the exam went offline too.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose bcom hons. Becz professionally I am a cricketer, the student ratio is 5:10 boy girl, Some faculties are great but many of them are just tere to earn money. the first 3 semester were offline and the 4th semester was offline so it was quite difficult but it went smooth.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some internships are there but most of the students dont have the access to that becz of college politics, the general secretary usually supports only those who participate in there campaign which is quite frustrating.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in bcom is quite cheap compared to other, it is about 20000 rupees for 3 years but there is a catch that you will have to take tuition which is expensive. The government of West Bengal and indian government provides various scholarships facilities like swami vivekanand scholarship program.

Campus Life

Campus Is quite small, basic facilities are there but modern facilities are not there, college canteen is small there is library, there is no scope for sports because college dont supports you, I am in 3rd year of college but still dont know about any college club.

Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.
