Remarks

Admission was on a merit basis, the application process starts before the result and the merit list comes 1 week after the result. there are 5-6 merit lists each after 1 week. the application fee was rs 100 and the fees were to be paid immediately after selection. The user interface can be made easy.

I choose the course because of my keen interest in the Financial market. The faculty ratio of my course is 1:30. Faculty is well qualified and the exams are taken quarterly in 3 months and the exam toughness is medium.

Internships Opportunities

The summer internship drive is run by the placement cell of the HR College of Commerce and Economics. Nearly 100 companies selected a total of 250 interns from the college, and stipends varied from 5000–20,000 depending upon the company and student's ability. Students got a wide spectrum of exposure to the tasks performed in a large organization. Companies that come in placement include Earnest and Young, and companies that come in internship include Book My Show.

Placement Experience

HR college is mostly known for its placement the placement rate is around 50-70%, and no. of the companies that come for placement is nearly 30. The highest package is 12lakh in my course and the average package is around 3.75-4 lakh. my plan after an undergraduate is MBA from a top A school.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are to be paid at the start of each year, the college doesn't provide any scholarship, but the principal on request provides financial assistance to the student, and internships are provided by the college with a stipend of 5-10k. Fees hike is 1-2k per year.

Campus Life

So many fests are conducted in the college auditorium. The infrastructure is old but the library is well maintained with a lot of books. amenities like a projector, screen, and computer are there in the classroom. Sport is played on the oval ground near the college and extracurricular activities include club activities and various events. there are many clubs run by students like flames, PSDs, yls, etc.

The college is Good

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement. The companies which visited college are Deloitte, KPMG, Asian paints and some other companies. And most of the students were selected. The average package offered was around 300000 LPA.

I did not sit for placements , because I already had an offer off the college. But my friends did get paced with Delloite and EY 85% students get placed as per my knowledge

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. A deep dive into NMCCE, Mumbai

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.

I applied to RA Podar, Mithibai, NM, Jai Hind, KC and god confirmed admission from all. HR seemed best due to its good name in the country. A deep dive into my college

I've done my 11th & 12th in the college in which I am pursuing baf degree course. First of all HR College is best in studies. All the teachers are very professional. The activities our college conducts for our improvement in respect of our course are very helpful for us. I got admission in other colleges too but HR was my first priority always.
