Remarks :

College management is very good and supportive.There are separate departments for UG and PG students.

Entrance Preview :

I took GATE 2015 examination . I got a rank of 650.I opted IIT Delhi as it is one of the best technical colleges in India.It has good facilities,good infrastructure,good environment and it provides ample oppurtunities to the student to grow.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The institute provides ample oppurtunities to the student for research activities.It provides adequate funding for your projects .Faculties promote you to do extensive research.Also there is a good balance of course subjects in the first year.You are motivated to write a lot of research articles and popular journals.

Internships Opportunities :

In M.tech college provides a monthly scholarship of Rs 12400 per month subject to the criteria that your cgpa in each semester is greater than 7.00.

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good overall. In my class of M.Tech Production engineering all 12 students were placed in Mercedes 7.5 LPA 3 students Tata Motors 8.5 LPA 5 students Boston R&D 8 LPA 2 Students. Private college lecturer 6 LPA 2 students. So there is a definite guarantee that you will get a job if you arrive in IIT delhi mostly on campus otherwise off campus.

College Events :

IIT Delhi organises many fests like Rendezvous,Tryst.Rendezvous is India's second biggest after IIT bombay's Mood Indigo.Being in Delhi many celebrities come in the IIT fests making it more popular.Apart from that there is a huge participation from various students from delhi university.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible for M.tech students costing around 25000 per semester including all college fees,mess fees etc.College fees for M.Tech students is Rs 10000 per semester. But for B.Tech students it is quite expensive due to recent price hike by MHRD.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For M.tech students IIT Delhi gives a scholarship of rupees 12400 per month and for B.tech students IIT delhi SBI Bank branch offers loan at 0% interest rate.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is very poor in IIT Delhi of 8:1. Students are from all parts of India.So overall IIT has very diverse range of students.There are many societies like SAE,Robotics etc and students are extensively involved in those groups.Students organises debate programmes also to improve their communication skills.

Hostel Facilities :

Mess food quality is very good as compared to other colleges.Hostels and hostel rooms are well maintained.For M.tech for first year it is double sharing and for second year it is single sharing.Hostel fees is nominal per semester around 5000 rupees per semester.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

IIT Delhi has a very strong alumni network and senior students help the juniors with all their problems.

Exam Structure :

Per semester there are 3 exams 2 minor exams and 1 major exam ,apart from it there are quizzes,lab exam,viva,assignments.So IIT faculties keep you busy in exams all the time .Also there are exams based on your software learnings.Once a student gets into this system exam becomes a habit from him.

Admission :

For admission to this college i took GATE 2015 examination .After the results were declared i had to register for M.tech admissions on iit delhi online portal .After that i was shortlisted by the institute for interview and after clearing the interview i got selected

Faculty :

Unlike other private colleges and NITs, faculty in IITs are very much focused both on lecture classes and practical classes.75% attendance is compulsary and is strictly followed by the faculties.All faculties are Phd's from reputed colleges some have post docs also.

IIT in reality

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Placement season begins from the first December and maximum students get placed by 10 of December. A wide variety of companies visit the college both core and non core. Overall package of non core companies are higher even reaching crore lpa and core companies packages are relatively lower.

Autumn at IIT Delhi ????

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this course is good. Professors are supportive in nature. And one year is for project which help to learn new skills and enhance the previous one help to survive in real world. But in that one year there are some subjects which we have to study but it should not be there it should be completely dedicated to project work. Overall this is a very good course which help to train a student to learn technical part of chemistry or polymers. And there are a lot of scope in this field.

IIT Delhi Be your own master

Placement Experience:

Students from masters are eligible from 3rd semester and from bachelors eleigible from 7th semester. There are many companies core and non core are coming like Hyundai , Intel, Adobe, Google, Microsoft, and other teaching company like Allen , Fitjee also coming here. and offers are around 500+ The highest package from my branch was around 47 lpa and average package was 17 lpa and profiles for all core and in non core as VLSI software development , Design and others too. In my branch 100% placement from 2020. After getting the degree first I will try to take Placement if not then I will pursue higher degree as Phd
