Rank best college in bangalore.Most o the students are research orientated and research thinking ability is more.Based on the UGC Rules and regulation university faculty will be recruited. University recruited starting as an assistant professor and superannuated with the professor. Most of the faculty will be good.

Entrance Preview :

I cleared some of the exams for my admission to Ph.D. Programme. IIT- GATE in 2013. Karnataka State Eligibility Test- 2013. Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP SET- 2013)

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Ph D programme starts with 6-month course work. If u pass the course work, your registration will be confirmed. The minimum duration for PhD is 3 years and maximum will be 5 years. If u registered under part-time PhD the minimum duration will be 5 years and maximum will be 7 years.

Internships Opportunities :

The general stipend will be15000-per month and based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate. Most o the students are research orientated and research thinking ability is more.

Every university will conduct university level sports event and cultural program. NSS group have every department. Fee structure is very feasible and very cheap . Normall the fee will be 15000- Rs per year. SC, ST students have fee reimbursement options also. Better options for university rank holders and department gold medalists. Most o the students are research orientated and research thinking ability is more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Campus Life :

The campus will be very clean and very eco friendly trees. You won't get this type of nature in entire Bangalore.This campus will look like the forest because of so many different types of trees and animals.Peacocks, snakes, and Parrots. For nature lovers, this campus will be suited.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is so good. The mess bill is very less 50 Rupees per day they will charge. They provide good hygiene food. Well equipped infrastructure and wifi facility and RO water facility to drink water.Will equipped laboratories and trained students.Most o the students are research orientated and research thinking ability is more.Based on the UGC Rules and regulation university faculty will be recruited.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

University has good alumni network. Some of the good personalities are BIOCON CEO-Kiran Majumdar shah. Many chief ministries and Political leaders are studied on the campus of the university. Very good place to visit also

Admission:

For applying the basic eligibility is Masters in Science oriented field with at least 55% marks secured. After which the university had held an entrance test for which I had to register by paying 41,000 rupees. After clearing the test, I got the admission.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are good . The students get to work on campus and they get opportunities to take up teaching jobs and also research jobs at the campus itself. The college also provides internship to its students.

Good place to learn , overall average in terms of reserach quality

Remarks:

Research is more of an independent pursuit, so I do not depend on university for any major part of my work. Only for passing the documents related to work, it takes a lot of time, which leads to delay in fellowships, grants for research. The system should be made more transparent and student centered.

I enrolled as a Int. PhD. Student in chemical science. You get opportunity to do any experiment in the lab. Its like you are given a lab and play with science. Entrance Preview:

I had appeared and cleared GATE, CSIR-UGC, ICMR and IISc entrance tests. My GATE rank was 87 and I also have cleared the remaining 3 exams I have mentioned above. I did not apply for any other institute, as I wanted to do my PhD here in this institute only. The reason behind choosing this institute is simple, "It's the best".

Admission:

I had applied through GATE exam and also had written institute entrance test (discontinued after 2012). I was called for interview into 3 departments of which I wanted to join the Molecular Biophysics Unit where I am now. After clearing the 2 rounds of interviews and after getting selected for PhD course here, I had written and cleared CSIR-UGC NET and ICMR exams and cleared them as well. THe admission process here is very simple and straight forward. You would be called for interview if have at least one of the qualifications mentioned, then you need to clear 1 or 2 rounds of interviews based on the department.
