Remarks :
After completing your 12th you can opt for mht-cet. This is the entrance test to get admission to the engineering colleges in Maharashtra. This exam is conducted in online mode. After the results are there are counseling rounds in which colleges are allowed. I belong to the VJNT category and got a 94.95 percentile in the cet exam. I was allowed this college in the first round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The primary reason to select this course was my interest in civil engineering. The faculty present here are well qualified and have a really good knowledge of their subject. Generally while teaching they try to connect things with real-life examples which helps in better understanding of concepts. Also, faculties are available till 5 pm on the campus for doubt clarification. In a semester, we have T1, T2, And End sem exams. T1 and T2 are 20 marks each while the End sem exam is 60 marks. The gap between each exam is normally approximately 45 to 50 days. The passing criteria are at least 24 marks at the end sem exam and the total score (T1+T2+ESE) must be at least 40. If are consistent throughout the semester the exams are not tough.
Placement Experience :
The placements in the college are really good. If your pointer is above 8 CGPA and you want to get placed you are going to get it. For the years 2021-22 till March 2022 88 companies had visited the college for placements and 212 offers were made. The average salary offered was 9.40 LPA. The total placements were 85.9 %. Maybe I will also opt for placement In a good company. The college had recently organized an industry meet to encourage placements in college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fees are roughly 85000 per year. This includes all the types of fees. there is no additional fee you need to pay. If you opt to get admission to the hostels, then hostel fees are about 22000 per year. then you need to additionally pay for the mess fees i.e.,2500/month. All the government scholarships and financial assistance are provided if eligible.
Campus Life :
The social life at the campus is very enthusiastic. You are going to enjoy your 4 years of your college. The classrooms are very well maintained and have all the required facilities. Also, the college library is very well equipped. You can find your course-related materials and journals there. There are many events conducted on the campus. The Annual fest is referred to as ASG. During this time we have the sports days and the annual gathering. And yes we have all the days like the traditional day, the mismatch day, etc in this period. There are branch-wise clubs like the CESA for civil engineering students, the MESA for engineering students, etc for all the branches. Here we also have the art circle, softa, etc which are open to all branches.
Hostel Facilities :
For getting admission you need to fill out an online form. Then the college allots hostels as the er availability. If you are one of them who is allowed a hostel you need to complete the registration process and the formalities. Now you also need to pay the mess fees. The mess fees are paid every month. In a room, there are 3 students. The normal facilities are 2 wooden compartments, 1 wooden cupboard, 2 normal compartments, and all the other basic facilities. The mess is also good. The mess provides morning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dinner on Wednesday and lunch on Sunday consists of nonveg however there is an option for vegetarian students. The hostels and mess are affordable. There are also rooms available in the surrounding areas close to the college.
