Remarks :

Eligibility for MBA: As per Anna university affiliated colleges norms. ( any degree with a minimum of 50% and 45% for those belonging to SC/ST/SCA/BC/MBC/BCM For the application form: visit the college directly, when you make a call they will surely guide you.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course since I am interested in the HR field. In alpha, Faculty: student ratio is 1::30. PhD staff and staff who have corporate experience are working here for giving better exposure. Internal exams(assessment tests) were conducted as per Anna University norms and the college is providing Books, handwritten notes and other study materials for each semester. Some study materials are being uploaded to Google classroom as well.

Internships Opportunities :

College provided Free Digital Marketing training with certification. Free advance Excel training with certificate. Free BEC(Business English certificate from recognised Cambridge university) summer internship after 2nd sem Industrial visit (outstation)in 3rd sem.

Placement Experience :

Placements start from the 3rd sem onwards. 96% got placed this year. The lowest package offered is 2.8 and the highest package offered is 4.5. I am planning to get placed on campus by the end of 3rd semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

50k per year. We can split it up and pay the fees sem wise as 25k per sem before the exam notification. I paid 10k at the date of admission and the remaining 15k before exams. College is not charging any donation or capitation fees. Ppl who are SC/ST we're getting some scholarships.

Campus Life :

We had an inter-college culture (enthral 2022) where around 1000 students participated this year. A technical fest like Business submit is conducted where some HR shared their ideas & viewpoints. Regular entrepreneurship vertical programmes are conducted and the winners are being rewarded. Classroom amenities: The projector is being connected and they take the class when it's needed. When coming to sports we are having a PT period ..and teams are maintained with sports day events. Clubs: college has tied up with MMA(Madras management association) and college is giving free webinar classes and the Young Yuva team for coordinating events.

Interview Experience :

Before joining I had a general discussion with MBA staff who have corporate exposure and who are in college placement cell. And it was also like they are knowing our area of interest, they guided me in detail about the course.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is great in this college. Last year placement rate was 96.5% and the second last year it was around 94.7%. In my batch, the most noteworthy bundle of a student was 14 LPA and the least bundle was 6.5 LPA and the most noteworthy bundle is 9.5 LPA and the least was 5.6 LPA. The top companies that recruited us for placements are Microsoft, HCL, Citi Bank, Mahindra, Tata, Wipro, Google, etc. Currently, I am working with Flipkart as a full-time employee and got placed because of my 3-month internship with them.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
