Remarks :
Infosys is IIIT Trichy's industrial partner. I passed the JEE and was assigned a seat during my JOSAA counselling. I discovered that the college has given high impact education and that the college's flagship course is CSE B.Tech, and I was qualified for the programme. I was also keen on the CSE programme, so I chose IIIT Trichy. The fact that IIIT Trichy is mentored by NIT Trichy was a plus for me because NIT Trichy is one of the best technical colleges in the NIT family.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college curriculum is current and industry-friendly. The curriculum enables us to gain a thorough understanding of computer technology, operating systems, and software programming. By using case histories and computation activities for studies and teaching concepts, the curriculum assists us in developing our analytical and decision-making skills. The faculty at the college is also highly qualified, and guest faculty from NIT visit us for guest lectures, which is a fantastic learning opportunity for us. The faculty's teaching methods combine traditional and modern teaching styles.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is required as part of the college curriculum. Many industries are invited to participate in the internship programme by the college placement committee. Off-campus internships are another option for students. The stipend for an internship varies depending on the company and the number of days you are doing an internship, but the internship is typically for two months.
Placement Experience :
The college's placement record has been excellent thus far for our batch, the university was able to achieve 85% of the placement record. I had already expressed my interest in Infosys to the placement committee, and they guided us all through our placement. During our batch, the highest placement was 18 LPA, and the average salary was around 8 LPA. During the placement drive, companies such as Amazon, Paytm, Siemens, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Virtusa, Capgemini, and others visited our campus.
Campus Life :
The college events are excellent, and the campus life is second to none. Every year, at the end of the even semester, the college also celebrates Institute Day. On-campus sports activities and tournaments are also organised. The college's literature festival, where influential personalities from various industries are invited, was a big hit with the students. Ek Bharath Shresht Bharat is a programme in which educators are exchanged between IIITs to learn about India's various cultures.
Hostel Facilities :
As the hostel rooms are shared, they are large and well-ventilated, and they include a study table, an almirah, and a bed. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, and the hostel is well-kept. The mess's food is good and tasty. We always wait for breakfast because the menu is diverse and the breakfast is South Indian and delicious. The college provides us with all of the necessary amenities.
