Remarks :

The college is very strict about ragging and does consider as a punishable crime if any students indulge into it. The college has zero tolerance when it comes to ragging.

Entrance Preview :

The candidate can fill the application form online or they can get the admission form from the college as well by paying Rs. 550. The admission form should be sent to the Registrar's address given on the website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BA is a 3 years' course where the candidates are selected after completing 10+2 and aggregate marks of 45% for open category students.

Placement Experience :

The college has a training and placement committee which helps the students to get placed during summers and final placements. There are many companies which come for placements in the college.

College Events :

The college celebrates all the major events in the college. This keeps the students engaged and helps to interact with other students as well in the college from different courses.

Campus Life :

The college has all the modern facilities for the students. It has a library, laboratories and workshops help from time to time to help the students get practical exposure about their subjects.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is committed to helping students understand the subjects and excel in their field of interest. They are always ready to help and encourages the students to learn more and in detail.

An individual of Doon university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always suggested to be a part of a government university, I was always curious about the history of Shakespeare, John Milton, John Keats, and other novelists, poets, and writers who want to explore studies and choose English to study the depth of it. Doon University is a famous university for the language courses it serves. The improvement needed is that children who have stage fairs should be given more opportunities to express themselves, and students should asked to compose their own material. The examination timings are flexible and are composed and performed according to the legibility of students.

Placement Experience:

General placements are been given to the students. But only 50 percent of the students have recieved the placement with highest this year being 13.92L per annum and average of 3-4 L per annum. Generally the students go for off campus placement.

Review of Doon University in short

Course Curriculum Overview:

The basic things in the course structure was to make students learn about the language it started from the basic and was taken to an advance level which people use in daily working society. Advance level education is provided in the 3rd year so that people can work easily. Many students even opt to do masters and then start teaching students. Some suggestions can be the additional courses that consume a lot time can be made a lil short in duration.

Placement Experience:

On-campus Placement is not as good as some private colleges but yes it is and many students get their placement off-campus. The main recruiter is amazon, many of the language students are placed in Amazon and the average package is 5-6 lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year, in the sixth semester. Various esteemed companies like cultfit, zarva, Zorba visit the campus and hire the students through an interview and physical test round, the look for an overall developed personality along with fitness. around 60-70 percent of the students get placed as soon as they finish their graduation, the packages offered range from anywhere around 17k-30k. Many students open their own yoga studios and take their own classes. I plan to open my Yoga studio in Rishikesh in the mountains after I finish my graduation.
