Remarks :
Overall the college holds a reputation in all fields and much better than most other colleges in india. The fees is less, the study is great and food and campus life is awesome. And i see only the positives here.
Entrance Preview :
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology hosts its own entrance examination which consisted of an essay writing , A technical MCQ, and after that an interview. It will be considerably easy if you know the 10-12th basics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum mostly consists of the upto subjects,but some of the subjects will defer from that,including the syllabus. Most of the faculties are good,and have detailed knowledge about the subjects. If the students are interested they can teach you upto the GATE level.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college offers a lot of placement opportunities and the internships are based on the companies. Some companies provide internship for the student in the eighth semester where as some would call the students in the semester leave. Apart from this our college also supports the students to take up the internships on their own.
Placement Experience :
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology provides excellent placement oppurtunities to various multinationals and it has achieved a cent percent placement record till date.
College Events :
We do have a cultural programme every year that creates a platform to show their innovation and skills. Certain events are Instrument Playing, Singing, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Mimicry, Skit etc. Large amounts of funds are allocated to make this event a succeeds and these would be organized by the students with the guidance of the teachers. This makes a good relationship among them. Every year lot of students from other colleges come here to participate in these events. Each and every department has a technical event organized each year a we have ours.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The tuition fee is 70,500 in 1st year amd 63000 for the next 3 years and hostel fees is 62000 for all 4 years . The rates are quite feasible and do not harm the parents much.The fees is not too large and most of the colleges have fees over 1 lakh each year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college offers all the scholarships provided by the government for the students. I am got a scholarship of Rs.7000 per year. The college also facilitates the toppers and achievers with special rewards. I have taken educational loan from the bank and am not sure about the procedures. But all I knew is that you can avail loan at your bank for education providing the necessary details. Our college office room provide the fees estimate and bonafide certificate for loan purposes, passport issues and others.
Campus Life :
The campus life was really good.You have plenty of opportunities to upgrade yourself. The extracurricular events are also good.,and happens quite frequently. The gender ratio is about 1:1.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities are quite good, based on the review from the hostel students. The mess food is available to day scholars by paying a small fee n daily basis. Quality of food is good most of the time,if you are eating there once or twice a week.
Alumni/Alumna :
Most of the senior students are helping in nature. They will help you in studies and course material, and any other help if you need.But like anywhere else,you will have to break the ice.
Exam Structure :
There are four semester divided over 2 years and exams are held after every 6 months. There are various courses offered in the institute and the exams are held.
