Remarks :

The faculty and the infrastructure of the college are commendable. Just the medical services should be made better.

Entrance Preview :

I took IIT JEE as well as BITSAT, and I scored 125 and 210 respectively. Though being in the field of science I was averted to B.Tech, but my interests were something else so I opted for a lighter computer course which led me to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course comprises of all the fields an expert in the field of Computer Applications must excel in. Along with the practical approach i.e. practice of the basic programming languages needed the course also includes theoretical mind sharpening subjects all the while increasing our managerial and business skills. In short, an overall development. Till second year no electives are allotted. But I'm pretty excited to learn about Artificial intelligence the coming semesters.

Internships Opportunities :

No, our college don't provide us internship but we have to do internship in every summer as its in our curriculum and it is compulsory to do internship in the given subject. But they help us find internship if we are incapable.

Placement Experience :

Placements are excellent because top it companies join for placement. They are tcs, wipro, infosys, l&T, Delloite, HCL, NIIT etc. Its depends on the student knowledge whether they can grab this opportunity or not. Placements are done in college as well as off campus. Around 80% placements are every year.Being of second year, haven't experienced much, here is the record of previous placements: The batch ending in 2017, 94 students have been placed with a staring average package of 6 lakhs.

College Events :

Our college has got best college fest Spandan which is considered to be top 10 in city. It is usually last for three days.Different celebrities join us its fun with learning. Different college student join to participate in this college. Different events are held such as dance, singing, sports.There are also many events like art fiesta- if you are interested in art and craft painting, colors.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For BCA its 63800 but it should be low because the college gets lot of money as around 3000 students are there of different departments. To be fair it s feasible considering it's a professional course. Scholarship are provided to eligible candidates. Student can pay fees in installment.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As far as I know, there is no scholarship or loan facility available in our college as of now. I am not sure but i guess the top three ranker do get free study opportunity in any college of GGSIPU.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is a bit biased towards the male gender. The campus life is pretty cool as it provides with an opportunity to interact with a variety of people of different gender, cast, race, state etc. People are very friendly, and so nothing relating to their family backgrounds or orientations hold much importance. As far as extracurricular activities are concerned, we have societies for almost every field ranging from fashion to robotics. We also have annual Sports Meet

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are quite large. It also depends on the number of people you're sharing it with. I've a few hostile friends, the staff is very friendly with them. So it pretty gives the feel of a home. The food is sometimes mundane, but nevertheless its eatable. Since not all can be accommodated, there are a few PG's surrounding the area. A good PG can cost upto 9,000.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

At first the seniors didn't seem to be very interactive or friendly. Though with time, they have proved to be a valuable part of the college life. They can help with everything from academics (providing notes) to providing tips regarding internship and placement.

Exam Structure :

It is based on university rules and regulations. The exams are divided into internals and externals with 25 and 75 marks respectively. A minimum of 50 marks are required to pass out of 100 marks. Marks are divided based on attendance, assignments, punctuality, regularity, behaviour etc.Since it is easy to score 50 percent it is not much burden. The labs can be a big strenuous but the overall schedule of the day is okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and well described. The syllabus of each subject is well detailed the syllabus teaches the subject in detail. The syllabus is prescribed by the university as of now, and there are a lot of languages that are being taught in the BCA department, but a student has to focus only on specific languages and one domain and focus on that domain only to to succeed in that domain. The area for improvements are some of the subjects are not useful for the students. For example, the mandatory subjects like accountancy don't help much for BCA students. The exams are conducted after five months of the semester start. The internal exams are held after half of the syllabus is complete and half of the unit come in the internal exam, whereas in the external exam, the full syllabus comes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Main thing which made me decide to choose bca from this college was because of easy accessable admission and im personally interested in computer science and this college was best for that thing. The education topics are well updated not something which is useless to learn everything which is utile is being taught here. Although no matter how good a thing is there is always a room for improvement, there are some topics which were important before but now they are no more usefull but we still have to learn them which isn't a good thing so it should be removed removing new topic is as removing outdated ones. Frequency of exams is just right twice a year with atleast 5 months of gap between each one , providing enough time to prepare for them and difficulty level should not be that hard If u have prepared for it .

Campus placement is offered you can expect 4-5LPA avg and 10-12+ LPA max , if you work a little hard. Whoever wants to get place will be placed , it's not that difficult to crack placements here. 4-5 is easy, 10 + is hard.

Placement Experience:

The college will provide the placements in the placement drive. Almost all the students got placed with a decent amount of money in their hands and those who don't want to be placed they opt for higher studies. From semester 5 they become eligible for campus placements. TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO HCL, etc. are the companies mostly visited and they are offered according to the student's caliber. The highest package is 6 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. Almost 90% of students get placed. After completing my course I will try to get a good-paying job if not then I will do MCA.

Good and Pragmatic

Placement Experience:

Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and Amazon make an advent. Most of the seniors are placed with a decent package. The college conducts various activities like GD, Mock Interviews, Personality Development sessions to groom the students and make them ready for facing the interviews with confidence. There's a dedicated placement cell that takes care of the placements and internships. College provides 100% placement assistance. The Institution has an entrepreneurship and placement cell which works extensively in inviting good companies to place students for internships and placement.

All the students would be required to submit several documents including class 10th examination certificate, class 10th and 12th mark sheets, character certificate, class 12th provisional certificate, ST/SC certificate, OBC certificate, transfer certificate from school along with the migration certificate (in case the student has done his/her schooling from outside Delhi) and three passport size photographs self-attested by the student.

Placement Experience:

10% of students in our course got placed, and the rest of them go for research work and for higher studies. The highest salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. About 40% of students got an internship in companies InfoAdda, Travel Triangle, PepsiCo, Realme and Oneplus.
