A good college with a very good practical exposure

Eigibility: A candidate who has passed an engineering or graduate degree and has studied either maths or stats and have scored at least 60% in graduation. Should have also taken CAT. I chose this course because it is the highest in demand right now and I am very interested in this field. The Faculty is really knowledgeable and very soft-spoken. They are always there to guide the students. Most of the faculties have Ph.D. from top universities and their teaching method is really great. They provide practical application to the problems. We have continuous evaluation when it comes to term exams. The exams are easy to pass if we have understood the concept.

There are a lot of startups and a lot of MNCs that offer internship opportunities. Most of the companies come for the profile of HR and sales and marketing. The stipend offered is around 20,000-25,000.

The students become eligible for placements from the start of semester 3. There are a lot of companies that visit the college. Some of them are KPMG, IHS Markit. The highest package is 22 lcs p.a. and the profiles offered are analytics, marketing, finance, sales. Almost all the students get placement in this college.

The fees structure is good seeing the course. The college provides good placements and hence the fees get covered with a year. Yes, the scholarship is provided to the toppers, Approximately 10,000. Financial assistance is also given to the EWS.

Engifest is the annual fest at DTU. The library is vast with a huge collection of books. Classrooms have AC and are constructed according to the study environment. The desks are furnished and the classrooms are clean. The campus provides a lot of sports activities and sports fest conducted by the sports society of USME, DTU. The campus has a lot of societies- PR cell, Enactus, NSS, Alumni relations cell, Training and Placement cell, cultural society, singing society, fashion society, entrepreneurship development cell, art society, fashion society, etc.
