Remarks :

I take admission to this course as an NRI student because I didn't write any Kerala engineering entrance examination. Students who qualified and scored a good rank in keam can get admission through allotments to government Merit seats. In Kerala engineering college they consider only keam rank scored for admission procedures. Reservation benefits are available for students of the sc/st and oec category who come under government merit seats. The national scholarship portal provides scholarships to students who pursuing undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Chemical engineering is not a core branch of engineering, the evolution of chemical engineering arise during the industrial revolution period. New technologies and inventions increase the scope and priority of chemical engineering. All the faculties are completed their graduation and post-graduation in a related field of chemical engineering. HODs are Ph.D. graduates. All the staffs have a clear vision about the tasks they handle. They also help students in their academic and non-academic activities.

Class Size : 54Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placement from the seventh semester onwards. For chemical engineering placement opportunities are limited but there are vast opportunities are there outside India. Cse and ece students are mainly got a placement with high salary. Companies like tcs, BPL, amazon, byjus, Wipro, Infosys are provides placement to students. Highest salary package offered is 1200000 per year. During each academic year about 60% of students got placed in various companies through campus placement. My plan is to go for master's after getting this degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College management issues maximum tuition fees for NRI students. The fees of government merit students are fixed by the government itself. There is one more category of students are there they are management merit students, tuition fees for these students comparatively low as compared to NRI students. Students who have any engineering entrance rank list and desired score in the previous examination are selected to management Mertt seats. Government and college management provides scholarships and financial assistance to students who are financially backward.

Campus Life :

Amal Jyothi innovation technical fest AJITF is one of the biggest technical fest conducted all over Kerala. This event is conducted every odd semester in an academic year. Besides this art fest, campus day celebration, sports day, formers day all are celebrated. All the classrooms are digitally equipped for providing a high-class experience for students. AJCE has a well resourceful library that contains more than 20000 books. Many social and cultural groups are actively running in social media which are controlled by students.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
