Remarks :
The admission process was simple and like any other college. You can give either MHT-CET or BHARATI'S exam to apply for admission. The eligibility varies as per caste and courses, mine was 50 percent or more in PCM in intermediate. The application form can be found on the college website and I paid 800 as entrance fees. Details of reservations can be found on the college website as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose electrical engineering because I am interested in making a career out of it. Coming to the faculty, they are knowledgeable and professional. They respond fast to any difficulty that is faced by students. They know what a student needs as they provide constant webinars, internship opportunities, extra courses, etc. Two professors teach the same subject and other professors also know briefly about any subject. Due to covid the session was late and there was a rush in teaching and exams but now they are on track. From my point of view, exams are moderate and you can score very well if you study the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship guidance is provided by the Training and Placement cell in the college. As no such internships are provided by the college and you have to look on your own. Though it is mandatory to have completed an internship before entering the 4th year. For projects, proper guidance is provided.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for the campus from the 3rd year onwards if they have the skill and knowledge. Companies including TATA, WIPRO, HCL, L&T, etc visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package offered is around 34 LPA and the average package is around 8 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is good and is around 70 percent.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees vary as per course and they will be provided by the college administration via mail. Regarding scholarships, it is classified into different headings that are also provided by the faculty. You have to be eligible to avail of that scholarship. For example, there was a scholarship, whose parent/s is in the army, for parent/s who are in railways, etc. The fees are paid via NEFT, RTGS, Net Banking, UPI, etc.
Campus Life :
We were deprived of freshers party due to covid but there sure is one for newcomers. As far as I can remember it is conducted in September. Books and journals are easily available in the library and each department is on a separate floor and has its library. Classrooms are above average and can easily accommodate 80 students at once. Basic Amenities are provided and we have a hospital inside the campus, which is a big plus-point. Extra-curricular activities on campus are majorly only for 3rd and 4th-year students. If you want to take part in one, you have to keep looking at yourself. There are tons of groups and clubs, some of them are: Rhapsody (drama club), Rotract (social service club), Literacy Council (poetry, story writing club), EDC (entrepreneur-related activities club).
