IIIT Lucknow Review

The college is popular for its CSE program and has a good placement record and the college is also quite popular for its faculty in CSE. In a short period of time, IIIT Lucknow has made a name for itself. I was also looking for a college with CSE as a flagship course and I found IIIT Lucknow which is quite popular for placement, CSE program and CSE faculty. So without wasting the time I decided to go for it. I have already qualified GATE and my B.Tech marks are around 68% and I was meeting the cutoff list for the M.Tech program of IIIT Lucknow.

The curriculum of the program is of the highest standards as per the industrial guidelines and standards. The curriculum provides enough room for project work and research work for us. The curriculum advantage is it incorporates competitive programming which helps us to develop our problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.

We are eligible for the internship after completing the first year of our program. The placement committee is very helpful they guide and help us to choose the company for the internship as per our interest. Around 40+ companies visit our campus for internship programs. The stipends for internship usually starts from Rs. 20000/-and goes up to Rs. 1,00,000/-.

The college has a 100% placement record. The college placement committee is very helpful and they properly guide us during the placement process. The committee is able to attract a good number and good quality companies for placement. The highest package for our batch was around 40 LPA and the average package for our batch was around 18.75 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Linkedin, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Oracle, Tech Mahindra, Samsung India visited our campus for the placement drive. I also received the package of 20 LPA from Tech Mahindra.

At the moment the college does not provide any kind of scholarship. The education loan facility is available and the admission department fully cooperates during the loan process.

The campus life of the college is good. The college organises the competetion like debate, quizzes, arts and drama. The annual technical fest of the college is named Equinox is the technical fest of the college. The college has 2 badminton courts, one football ground and the college also have lots of indoor games facilities which is great for the sports lover. The college library has many books from around the world and international journals are also available. The labs of the college are equipped with modern facilities. The classrooms are big and spacious.

The hostel facilities are very good. The rooms are big and properly ventilated. Each room is equipped with beds, study tables, and a wardrobe for students. The mess food quality is good and the menu is very vast. The hostel provides us 24 hours of high-speed WiFi facility. The hostel staff and warden are friendly we don't feel away from home in the hostel. The hostel is full of modern facilities as per our comfort.

The faculty of the college is very experienced and professional. The faculty is of PhD level from the top-notch universities of India and abroad. The faculty are masters in their respective subjects we can approach faculty to clear our doubts any time and they are ready to help us.
