Entrance Preview :

JEE, I was among top 3k rank. I choose it because I knew hotel management has a great career for me. The college I got is because of Ranking.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was good learning experience. In first and third year we had 4 semesters and in second year ye had 1 semester and 4 months internship. We learned about all 4 major departments of Hotels .

Internships Opportunities :

It was best part of the college. I did internship from Radisson blue alibaug. I use to get 500 rs as stipend. In internship the hotel provided us accommodation as well as food facilities. they provide pick and drop cab facility to us as well.

Placement Experience :

Placement was 100% when we pass out. Big hotels came for placement like taj, hotel leela etc. And big brands like mc Donalds, KFC etc.

College Events :

From fresher to annual day to diwali celebration there were lots of cultural programmes in the college. There was sports weeks also in which every participate play their sport and get prize as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

No idea about it as my parents use to manage that. However it was approx 24k per semester. And 30k per year hostel fee. In third year it was about 26k per semester.

Campus Life :

Campus life most of the time was full of classes only. But we also have cultural programmes, food fest's, sports day, and many many more activities. In our college the students were from all over India so it was great experience tomeett them all .

Alumni/Alumna :

It was good experience. We meet our alumni in one of college alumni function. They shared their experience, achievement, and how good the study at our college helps the. To achieve height in career.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure was good. it was not at all hectic. It was designed in such a manner that we gets time to study in between every exam.

Faculty :

All the faculty were awesome. They were helpful, well qualified and one of the best in their work. They were friendly as well as strict. They all were fully devoted to their works.

My life in an hotel industry

Placement Experience:

Form last semester 6 that is the final year final semester after that you are eligible for the placements. There are many companies and hotels with are a part of our college placement. College provides opportunities to be selected in the PI round and get a job at these hotels. Companies like Radisson blue, Marriot, and many more are a part of college placements. The interviewer will not select you on the basis of your looks or way of talking but also from the way you carry yourself, your skills, your way of handling things, knowledge and all sort of things.

College have girls hostel but not near to the college which is a headache for the girl students and they have pay money for the transportation. College have no transportation facility for students and facility. College gives us chance to use the skills during studies in army base, in front of ministers and higher officials

My positive remarks will be that no seniors can harass or bullying any juniors in the college,doing that will lead to their expulsion from the college. My Negative remarks will be ,Few staff behave very arrogant and rude.It makes us down.

IHM BHOPAL quick review

Remarks:

We don't have very big campus but overall infrastructure is good. Cooperative teachers and seniors, our college is very strict on grooming and punctuality. The best thing is our lunch is free provided by college.
