Remarks :

The admission process was quite smooth as the batch strength was low. Would be more hectic depending upon the course you take. First you have to give a writing ability test where they test your knowledge and stronghold over the English language. Then you are called for an interview by the respective department where they ask topics from the course, your hobbies and some current affairs question. The eligibility criteria of the course were minimum 60% marks in 12th and having mathematics as a subject in your 12th. You can find the application form through their website amity.edu/mumbai/ , Application fees was around 1000 and application dates were open till August No reservation benefits availed. The only improvement that can be made is that they should not call many people in one go! Almost takes your whole day which becomes difficult for the people who have come from far places as the college campus is inside Bhatan village.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose BCA as I thought the subject curriculum was up to date and both hardware, as well as software aspects of CS, was covered. Faculty: The student ratio was about 4:15 HRD's qualification was Ph.D. in CS, The exams were conducted very timely and the difficulty level was easy to moderate level

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are provided by the Placement department but mostly with no stipend Projects depend upon the company to company it can be ERP/Zoho/ Consultancy work/BPO work or as per the requirement of the company.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester Mostly the companies they refer to are private consultancy firms or Solution businesses Students from B.Tech are prefered more for the placement assistance Very few people get good placements so mostly 95% of the class go for their masters and not a job My plan is to pursue an MBA degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee would be around 8 lakhs ( with hostel ). The scholarship is provided to the topper of the first year (about 15%) Internships provided by them through their Placement departments but with no stipends Job opportunities are also provided but they are not that good you can expect around 2 lakh package, better to prepare and look out for opportunities when IT Companies post Job Recruitments

Campus Life :

Annual fest's name is Aminova. They are conduced between November-December The best part about this college is their library. Books and Journals are available in the library and also there are various publications and journals you can visit their their e-digital library which every student gets ( Amizone portal) Good sitting benches, boards and projectors are the amenities in the classrooms Sports is promoted in the college through various events. The campus has a huge sporting area for basketball, cricket , tennis and badminton lovers. Also in hostel there are 2-3 Table Tennis boards. There are various events held by various departments where all students can participate for the extra curricular activity Amitheatre club , Fashion club, E-cell are some of the clubs run by students

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities provided in the room: Study table, bed, almira, lights, A/C(for those who have opted A/C room hostel). Meal provided in the hostel is average. Breakfast consists of Misal Pav/Poha/Upma for 25/30 rs and in the lunch/dinner proper Indian food is provided for 50 rs Student has to register for hostel facility in the Amizone portal and the pay online/offline. Affordability is good as 60k(non-AC) room per year is a fair deal in Mumbai Rooms can be rented in Indiabulls Green - Near Rasayani Road (about 1-2 km ) away from the campus for about 8-10k per month

Its depends upon you how much your are studying and how much you have skills and experience. I don't know but many senior doing jobs in IT sector. I know them and they are having good placement. The compony is not famous but doing great work . minimum package is 7 to 8 lac lpa in that company. Above 70% students. Placements deepands on your skills you have to show your power and skills to teachers . And have to make big projects in college time I have planned for the backend developer.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements after the 3rd year that is the 6th semester. Accenture, Amazon, Cognizant , FIS, Hitachi, Infosys, Lokmat, TCS, Tata communications, Tata Motors , Sakal , Toshiba, Vodafone , Wipro etc are among a few recruiters at DYPIU. Profiles for a BCA student can be Data Analyst, Software Engineer, Web Developer, Data Scientist etc. My plans after getting the degree is to join a reputed company as a web developer since my interest is in that field

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are 6 terms in my course. As per the new strategy, the odd terms will be based on the college level and the even terms will be on the university level... Due to covid my 1st year went on MCQ type but it was tough.

Placement Experience:

As I already mentioned campus placement facility is not good. Very few only 2-3 companies visits for placement and that is also not every year and you're eligible for placement in 3rd year of BCA, and only 4-5 students max to max only 7-8 students out of 60+ are placed with the package of 2LPA max. And talking my plans as I realized I made a mistake to graduate from HN I'm going to pursue masters and that is the only option else stay happy with 15k/ month

Placement Experience:

In my department, final year students are eligible for campus placements with no backlogs and a good score. A student should have at least 60% to get placed. We are lucky to have companies like Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and many more for our placements. It's not easy to get placed but college helps with aptitude, personality development and improves our English communication too.
