I like campus and it's area. I mostly like new cafeteria.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Research work is there in every course. In a semester, there are 2 exams, mid -- sem exam and end -- sem exam. Mid -- sem exam is of 30 marks and end -- sem exam is of 70 marks. There were no industrial visit for my course. There is placement cell, which help students to get job of their interest. There Is minor track in which students have chose 1 subject other then his course and a minor degree will be given for that. There is foren language also. Students will get certificate for this. There is communication skills and behavior science also. These 2 also provide certificate.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is excellent. Placement cell is connected with many companies in around mumbai. Yes amity takes special steps to prepare the students for the placement season. Till now, no companies had came for our course placement.
College Events :
1. Technicia of engineering students. 2. Annual sports function of hostel and amity group. 3. Aminova as annual function. 4. Every year quiz is organises by applied science department and quiz competition by liberal arts department. 5. Food competition by travel and tourism department, every year at annual function.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For my course fees is not expensive. It starts with 29,500 in 1st and 2nd semester. For engineering, it goes to lakhs. Online mode is there for payment of fees. Yes, there is an additional charge as security money for every course and late fine, for those who submitt late fees. Yes, amity university provide transparency in the fee -- breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, i did not opted for scholarship. But 100 % scholarship is there for, who got 83 % or more. Students can apply from any recognised board.
Campus Life :
Girls are more then boys. Out pass and id. Card is compulsory for every hostel student, while going outside campus. Most students are from middle class family. All students are friendly in nature. Students celebrate birthday partie in their dorm at mid _ night. Students are from all over the country.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, opted for hotel. There are 3 room in 1 dorm. In room, there is sharing with 2 students. There no p.g. in campus except hostel. Wifi is there in hostel and in campus. Mess is there for students, with affordable prices. Cafeteria is also there. Bus facility is also there hostel students, on saturday and sunday.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, senior students are helpful. There is no senior for my course, as, i'm in 1st batch. But, others senior students helps, who stays in hostel.
Admission :
I had given entrance exam and interview for my course. The interviewer asked questions related to my course and interest and about general knowledge questions. 50 percent was compulsory for taking admission in my course. I love poems and to read fictional books. So, i opt for this course.
Faculty :
Faculties is very helpful. They are highly knowledgeable and teaches very well with full potential. All the faculties are ph.d. Holders. Faculties shares all the material related to their course. Faculties are friendly type. There are 5 months in a semester, in which, class is there in 4 months and 1 month is end -- sem exam.
