The administration department provides the application form that is free of cost. Course Curriculum Overview :
I am a student of o p Jindal university Raigarh. I am pursuing a BTech degree in Metallurgical Material Engineering. MME is a combination of Metallurgy and material engineering. Metallurgy and material engineering is a highly demanded branch. It's a very rare branch after IIT, Nit few Colleges have this branch. Because in any industry metal or material is used .where metal or material is used their MME required for testing or production. Teaching Faculty:- the best part of college is our faculty. Faculties are highly qualified and we are easily talking with them without any hesitation. they are free frank with students. The proper guide on how to study also they gave career guidance and during academic, every group has their own mentor. If you have any problem regarding college, study, or any issue you can discuss it with your mentor. He/she is helping to solve your problem Examination Details:- we are easily passing the examination. The difficulty level of the exam is Normal.
Internships Opportunities :
O p Jindal University is an institute of Jindal group. And we know that Jindal group have their own companies like jsw, jspl, jpl and many more. So they are giving our students internship in our companies according to their branch and during intership company not provide a stipend. That's why you need to arrange and pay for accommodation during intership.
Placement Experience :
7th and 8th-semester students are eligible for student campus placement. I am from Metallurgy so in Metallurgy placement jsw, jspl, sunflag iron, and steel companies are coming and they offer packages up to 4 to 6 LPA. Few students are placed in placement drive around 20-42%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Academic fees, development fees, professional development fees, examination fees, admission, and uniform fees(one-time charge)= 80000 rupees Hostel fees are double sharing room = 80000, Triple sharing room = 70000 Placements:- college claims 100% placement but the reality is that few students are placed. In last year (2021) 0% placement. No one was placed in any company in the MME branch. Year by year opju Raigarh placement graph going down.
Campus Life :
Opju fest is 'TENOROLICS' but due to covid, it's not conducted. According to 'TENOROLICS - 2019-20' it was a very successful event. famous singer Mr.jubin nautiyal was coming for consort. various sub-events are also done. Other engineering colleges are also participating in tenorolics. Colleges library:- college library is huge and modern. All books are available in the library and if some do not then the library provides a lab computer where we can use pc for educational purposes. Honestly, I am talking library is awesome. Classroom:- classroom capacity is more than 65 students. The classroom is also modern. The projector is available. faculties are teaching with the help of a projector. Some classes have computers. 24×7 fast wifi is available you can use. Sports:- for the outdoor sport we have huge ground. Ground divide into 3 to 4 parts according to sports basketball, volleyball, football, and cricket and in indoor games, we have table tennis, carrom, chess, 8 ball pool.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms:- hostel rooms are good. every 1to 2 days maid is coming for cleaning. Hostel wifi is not working properly. College surrounding has big steel industries. Steel Industries produce toxic gases. And College and industry are attached that's why dust and carbon settle down everywhere. Meal quality:- in every hostel meal quality is almost the same because they make food for the mass candidates. But opju meal is quite good and the snacks are amazing. Hostel review:- hostel is amazing. For daily present fingerprint, the machine is available. Wifi and water filter, maid service, laundry facilities available.
