Remarks :

I got admission through SCB Channel. In 2020, the cut off for CBSE was 427 for Gen and 396 for SC/ST. Eligibility of this course is you need to have maths in +2 while applying for engineering or economic sciences. Application forms are available during the month of May, which cost around 1200 for SC/ST. Yes, they provided benefits for SC/ST.

Course Curriculum Overview :

A semester is of 5 months duration, containing 2 sets of exams, mid sem exam and end sem exams. Each sem individual has to obtain 21/18 credits to get passed. Besides exams, they conduct regular quizzes with easy to moderate levels of exams.

Class Size : 330Course Fees : INR 22000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, the college provides you with internships. We can write to professors showing interest in their work, they then provide a reading project or include you in their research team. Best enrol yourself in IAS for an internship.

Placement Experience :

We are not quite familiar with the Placement of our college. But as heard last year 27 lakh package was provided to a student. General most people go for PHD( more than 50%). I am planning for the same after getting my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is around 53000 for General and 11000 for SC/ST. Tuition fees are around 38000, the rest include exam fees, library fees, gymkhana fees, technology fees, hostel rent which is around 11000-12000 sum up to around 50000.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is a joyful ride. They have built good infrastructure for almost everything, the library is good, hostels are good, the lecture hall is well maintained with the digital board to teach. Other than academics, we have courts for badminton, basketball, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, ground for cricket, football, athletics. There are many clubs run by students, like dance, music, drama, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels have well accommodation. Clean corridors, clean and hygiene bathrooms, 24 hours guard on duty. The rooms are not that spacious but ok. They provide you with an almirah and shelf and a table with chair. It is quite affordable just 1500 /per sem. Mess is just okay.

Iiser Bhopal review

The journey of research

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really interesting and very in-depth. But as I mentioned it's quite hard. Some faculty do make it more hard by teaching quite advanced stuff. Some even don't grade well. But it is all the choice to learn better and better. So they teach well and one can understand well if they are interested in learning. Teaching methods are blackboard-based. Some teachers make things very interesting by doing lab visits or explaining in quite interactive ways. Some give programming assignments, some take challenging quizzes, and course homework problems which are sometimes a nightmare but they are to enjoy the subjects. Generally, for core courses, there are 4 exams for each course. For elective courses, the professor can choose any number of exams, or even no exam if he wants. They can decide their way of grading the students, either viva or something another way like programming, homework, etc. the four exams are # quizzes and one sem and one end sem.

IISER BHOPAL:- Towards the goal of your science dreams

Course Curriculum Overview:

So IISER BHOPAL provides integrated BS-MS courses in basic science in all streams. I am interested in main chemistry, the biological field and I want to do research in that field, I prefer IISER BHOPAL Because its ranking is also good in the field of chemistry and biology. Here students: faculty also depends on the stream, it changes with the different disciplines but overall it is good. All the faculty members are very good research backgrounds in their field and they are best their field they are well-qualified from different institutions of the world. And about exams, it is not that difficult if you study daily by daily then it will be very easy to pass the exam and gain the good cpi.
