Caeetakers and warden every sem they charge atleast 200 for no reason

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum for first year is almost same as any other tier 1 collages. However from second years onwards the course are heading towards particular field of interest and are research oriented

Class Size : 400Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I do not have any internship experience as the first year student does not get any internship however we can apply for project under the professors guidance. Which helps us for intern, that's all I know till now

Placement Experience :

There is a placement cell in campus however most of student does not join IISERs for placement .Although many of the students opt or prefers highers studies abroad rather than placement. The engineering and economics department although have good placement rate

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees including hostel and other facilities are 66k per sem in 2023 and increasing 3 per sem onward. The mess fees for on month is 3100 . The collage provide scholarship for top 10 students only however you can apply for government scholarship as per your category

Campus Life :

The infrastructure of the campus are quiet well And new. The clubs here are not well active only fews clubs were actually also The clubs do not proper equipment to run. The campus life is well as It is the only iiser which have peoples from all over INDIA

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are good but they are not available on time just like hot water available in summer and cold water in winter which is major issue of all hostels and rest all are good. Random checking is also a serious issue as the warden caretaker can do checking at any time in fact in night too

Hostel Fee : INR 3600 per year

Admission :

The admission process is quiet easy and is done through IAT channel(for all IISERS). there was two ways to join IISERS one is JEE ADVANCED which had been closed from 2024 onward and other through IAT channel. The entrench exam consists of bio Chem maths physics only

Faculty :

Mostly faculty members are post graduates from best collages all over the world and also they are well experienced having atleast more than 20 yrs of experience of teaching.they interact regularly with us and also they have defined there office hours for our simplicity.

Iiser Bhopal review

Students have frequency exam every month. Their we have quiz 1, mid-semester examination, Quiz 2 and End-semester examination. Teachers have their Teaching Assistant with them to help students to clear their doubts.

The journey of research

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really interesting and very in-depth. But as I mentioned it's quite hard. Some faculty do make it more hard by teaching quite advanced stuff. Some even don't grade well. But it is all the choice to learn better and better. So they teach well and one can understand well if they are interested in learning. Teaching methods are blackboard-based. Some teachers make things very interesting by doing lab visits or explaining in quite interactive ways. Some give programming assignments, some take challenging quizzes, and course homework problems which are sometimes a nightmare but they are to enjoy the subjects. Generally, for core courses, there are 4 exams for each course. For elective courses, the professor can choose any number of exams, or even no exam if he wants. They can decide their way of grading the students, either viva or something another way like programming, homework, etc. the four exams are # quizzes and one sem and one end sem.

A Future Researcher Perspective Of IISER Bhopal

Placement Experience:

Placement is taken only by the students are who doing engineering and economic sciences and our placement is not that good as our average package is 5 lakhs per annum and max being 8-12 lakhs. Almost all of the engineering and economic students try to go IIM's after IISER to get an MBA degree. All the natural sciences students after their 5 year course go to various universities in India and abroad to pursue their PhD degree and after go to work in various labs as researchers.
