Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum's strong foundation in core disciplines such as physics chemistry and maths was a major factor in my decision to choose this The rigorous coursework coupled with opportunities for research and innovation equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for advanced studies.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The estimated annual cost for an engineering student at iiser bhopal is approx 1,00,000 per year Scholarship oppurtinites are also available such as INSPIRE and KVPY . The details are shared to students via email at the required time . Financial aids such as students loan programs can also be availed if required Campus employment oppurtunities such as Teaching assistant , Research assistant oppurtunitues are also encouraged

Campus Life :

Iiser bhopal has a beautifull campus . Usually people spend thier times strolling through the greenery. Fests are usually fun and enjoyable . We have enthuzia ( annual fest ) , singularity(annual tech fest ) which are held mostly from december to february .

Hostel Facilities :

Usually rooms are well maintaned and clean, nice furniture and high speed wifi ,hostels have common laundry area with washing machine accessible to all students , regular housekeeping services are provided to maintain cleanliness.

Hostel Fee : INR 10000 per year

Admission :

Students are selected mostly through jee advance , scb , and kvpy channel Admission process was smooth . Members of students activity council usually manages this well and ensures admission process goes well .

Faculty :

Faculties at iiser bhopal are great and usually students don’t face any issues . They are easily approachable and helpful with regards to coursework . All faculties are well qualified and experts in thier fields

Iiser Bhopal review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Students have frequency exam every month. Their we have quiz 1, mid-semester examination, Quiz 2 and End-semester examination. Teachers have their Teaching Assistant with them to help students to clear their doubts.

The journey of research

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really interesting and very in-depth. But as I mentioned it's quite hard. Some faculty do make it more hard by teaching quite advanced stuff. Some even don't grade well. But it is all the choice to learn better and better. So they teach well and one can understand well if they are interested in learning. Teaching methods are blackboard-based. Some teachers make things very interesting by doing lab visits or explaining in quite interactive ways. Some give programming assignments, some take challenging quizzes, and course homework problems which are sometimes a nightmare but they are to enjoy the subjects. Generally, for core courses, there are 4 exams for each course. For elective courses, the professor can choose any number of exams, or even no exam if he wants. They can decide their way of grading the students, either viva or something another way like programming, homework, etc. the four exams are # quizzes and one sem and one end sem.

A Future Researcher Perspective Of IISER Bhopal

Placement Experience:

Placement is taken only by the students are who doing engineering and economic sciences and our placement is not that good as our average package is 5 lakhs per annum and max being 8-12 lakhs. Almost all of the engineering and economic students try to go IIM's after IISER to get an MBA degree. All the natural sciences students after their 5 year course go to various universities in India and abroad to pursue their PhD degree and after go to work in various labs as researchers.
