Course Curriculum Overview
There is mainly 4 stream from which you can choose, These institutions come under the central government. I have opted for a diploma in Electronics Engineering ( 3 years) . The teaching methods are quite unique they focus more on practical knowledge than theory. There are about 60 students in one stream. The faculty will train you very well. There are total a of 6 semesters in the 3-year course. The exam is not so hard to pass but will definitely require some good effort if u wanna score good marks
Placement Experience
The students get eligible for placement after the 5th year. Interested students can apply for it. Mostly all the students get placement who apply for the placement. Companies like Havels, Titan visit campus for offering placement to students. Students can get packages ranging from 3 lakh to 6 lakh. I am going to pursue master after passing out from here
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per semester is about Rs.25000. security of 5000 is charged which gets refunded after you pass out. The fees remain the same throughout the course. The institution comes under a central government so the fees structure is designed by a government official. Students can apply for scholarships up to 50percent if they are in the top 3 students from their branch
Campus Life
Well, this is the best part about ISTC, there are a lot of extracurricular activities on campus. ISTC also has IIC(Institute Innovation cell) which is not so common in Diploma colleges. Students can also join NCC, NSS, and many more. The library is fine, it has books and magazines for everyone's interest. A lot of events are organized throughout the year. Fresher is organized every year to welcome the new students
