Remarks :
You're eligible for entrance in the college only if you've passed the 12th standard examination by a certain cut-off percentage which changes every year depending upon the average marks of the year. The admission process was done in two parts, either through JEE or through ILS rounds. Application forms can be found online on the website or offline in the admin office of the college in Mumbai. Benefits and reservation are given to Lower economic classes, Gujarati caste, OBC and Kashmiris. The admission process can be made more efficient as it takes really very long.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Chose this course upon my interests and depending upon the cutoffs that I lay in. I also took advice from my close ones and from some online observations. This course also lies in one of the top available courses in the college and has really experienced faculty for the same. There is approx 1 teacher for 20 students. The faculties have mostly done their Ph.D. in various subjects and are very skillful in their respective streams. Professors also do their own research and include students in the research papers. Term exams happen once in two months and exams can be easily cleared if you study along with what has been taught in class.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th sem. There are various MNCs and startup companies that visit the college and a minimum of 70% of students are placed with their help. Average packages received are of 8l.p.a. which keeps increasing as per inflation rates. Post getting the degree I'll be applying for jobs. There should be more offers for internships which should be given to students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees are comparatively very high. This college is deemed the costliest private engineering college in Mumbai. The fees structure should be revised and should definitely be reduced for students. The fees hike per year is also quite high and should be taken in accordance with what general class students can afford. Students who have some different backgrounds like low economic status or various regional preferences get a considerate amount of scholarships which come in handy.
Campus Life :
Trinity is held in February which is the cultural fest of the college. The library in the college is one of the best in Maharashtra having huge datasets both offline and online. Classrooms have very high-tech facilities like smart boards, centralized ACs, cameras, ergonomic benches, and so on. Sports teams are there and various events are held. There are numerous teams or committees that are available for students to participate in.
