Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite good and elaborate. Other than core courses of food technology we have to study few application-based subjects in the food industry like Stats and computer applications. It's quite indulging, we have to make several assignments and presentations. Faculties are too good and well qualified, all are P.Hd holders. Exams are not that hard to pass, you have to attend classes daily, it's enough to pass with good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
It's compulsory for every student to do an internship for 4-6 weeks in the industry after completion of the first year. Professors have direct contact with industries they can help to find one. Many students have done their internships in Nestle, Amul, ITC, Britannia, and other prominent companies.
Placement Experience :
Placement depends on the concerned department. As for food technology, there is placement. In the year 2021 the placement for M.Sc food technology is 65%, many media to prominent companies visit in Institute of Agriculture.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's a special study course in BHU, which means it's a self-financed course. So its fee is very in comparison to other courses of BHU but if you compare to other good food technology colleges then it's better option and fee is comparable to other colleges also. Also, if you're a resident of UP and have a family income of less than 2.5 lakh then you are eligible for a state scholarship also you can apply for a national scholarship.
