Remarks :
You have to have cleared IBSAT/CAT/NMAT with a minimum 71 to 76 percentile for the Hyderabad campus. The overall admission process is alright and smooth. You have to have a UG degree from a recognized university with 50% marks, at least.
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBA from IBS is a good option. It is the 8th rank private B-school for MBA in India. The IBSAT is usually in December end and the selection process goes on till mid January. There are 50 students per faculty guide, and the faculty guides in my course are well versed with the course.
Placement Experience :
100% placements are given. The highest CTC is around 17 lakhs per annum and the average is 7 lakhs per annum. Top companies like Wipro, Zomato, Oracle, Google, Aditya Birla group, TCS, Flipkart, Nestle, 99 Acres, American express, etc come to recruit students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is around Rs 7,00,000 per year. Since the average CTC is around 7.32 lakhs per year, you get an ROI of 2 years, which is decent. Students who score well in IBSAT, Xth, XIIth and UG also get a scholarship.
Campus Life :
There are clubs and cells that are of diverse spectrums. Finance club, marketing club, economics cell, e cell, extracurricular activities at IBS are vast and offer a lot of variety. There is also a sports fest.
Interview Experience :
GD PI round is conducted in January. GD topics are on current affairs, and you have to compete with 7-8 students in each round. PI questions are based on your CV and your interest in MBA. Your academic background is also quizzed by way of technical questions.
