The Admission process was so precise and seamless that the 1st step consisted of an Admission Test named IBSAT. The Eligibility Criteria consist of a minimum of 85 percentile for the main campus. The application form consists of the basic eligibility criteria required for all MBA colleges. The application fee was almost Rs.85000, which is refundable if the candidate withdraws his/her admission. After getting selected for 4 out of 9 campuses, I directly applied for the Bangalore Campus I was allotted. The GD and PI went smoothly and were competitive among the candidates. After getting to the campus, it was tough for us to communicate with other students because students from PAN India have different languages. But maintaining good networking with them helps me to understand them in various ways.
The admission was very good and smooth, everything was on time the best thing is that they assign an admission counselor to everyone to guide every student when to do and how to do it. Eligibility was based on CAT, XAT, NMAT, and IBSAT. The application fee was Rs. 1800. They are very particular about time.
It is research driven. The study there is very practical, and industrial visit part was completed when we were given a chance of internship in different sectors of business world.I became more professional in the activities that i took part in my college as there were many.
We have semesters and mid sem and all a semester for summer internship of 3 months the course give us handfull insights and deep knowledge about corporate exposure we have been given lot of activities and events on business soo yes I can say that IBS is preparing us better to join a corporate world and giving us all the knowledge for the placement.
Our course curriculum is good and in tune with the industrial requirements. In the first year of the course, we study core general management and in the second year, we studied our specialized areas. I opted for Marketing, we studied stuff like the global market, consumers, etc.
I think that our college is one of the best business schools in Bangalore. The infrastructure of our college is nice and the faculty members were amazing. The campus life was also good and I enjoyed my days here a lot.
Yes, Our college also reviews from cat score so basically if a higher percentile student opts to ibs he/she will be given a scolarship depending on their percentile.or else a student with higher percentage in ibsat exam also can be given a scolarship. And rest regarding loan i have no idea as i didnt apply for it
College is good, teaching is good, culbs are advantage for students to learn better, However the package given by some of the companies are not really good and some companies are completely offers sales based jobs for marketing students. And companies for HR and operations are very few.
No bad remarks, good remarks are vrry well focused on practical world and overall development of a student
