Remarks :

Admission is through the CUCET exam. The exam is of moderate level,computer-based, having two sections containing questions from general aptitude reasoning as well as all fields of life sciences . Approx 50% Marks is the cutoff.After the results, you have to apply to the respective college according to your Marks. Then they will release the admission list. more than one rounds of merit list are prepared

The college is said to have placement and international collaboration and internship opportunities. But afters masters not may is said to be accomplished. People often aim to clear net jrf and opt for higher studies in PhD at other universities or in the same university itself under the existing professors

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

fees at the time of admission is 19000 which includes 1st-semester fees subsequently it is 11000 per semester. one can apply for a national-level scholarship if studying in a master's on their own. The college may provide a bonafide certificate

Campus Life :

the college for master's first year is currently online. therefore no such additional extracurricular activities.Although the college has various sports facilities and equipment and organizes sports events.the NCC club is also active. The wifi on the campus is having very low connectivity. the library has a collection of books and online research journals and pdfs

Hostel Facilities :

hostel surrounded by trees.it has shared decent room with basic ammeninites.The wifi is very poor.the arts and some other courses are operated from the new under construction campus so students have to travel each day.bus facilities is provided but not enough toh accomodate all the students comfortably.not much medical help is provided.the doctor in the hostel is not always available ,the mess food is okay but sometimes students on returning from the new campus doesn't get food as it is over.

Present Life of NIT Jamshedpur

Placement Experience:

For PG students they are eligible from 2nd year and for undergraduate eligible form 4th year. Companies like VLSI , TSC , WIPRO , Google , Microsoft, isro , drdo etc such companies are comes and offered. Higest on campus placement package nearly 70lpa and avage is 27 lpa There are 70-75 % students get placed. My plane is for further study.

Remarks:

Currently, the placement here is not good. Maybe after some time, it will be better. Only 1-2 companies visit at present. About 10% placement is there for 2018 pass-out batch. If you want placement in this college, then this is not a good place for you. I think in one or two years, it will be better. No they don't provide internships.

Remarks:

This is not very good or wow at its first site as it holds an IIT tag. But gradually you will fall in love with it. The central library is the main charm of ISM. As a city Dhanbad is not very much developed and there are very few places to enjoy.
