Remarks :
With my CAT scores of 80% and my bachelor's score of 60%, I applied to IIT Jodhpur by filling out the online application form that was available at the university's official website. For the application fee, I paid an application fee of Rs.300. I got to know about IIT Jodhpur through the internet and found good reviews of this university. Also, they offered my program, hence I decide to take admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum in the first year included courses in technology or data analytics, and we also had the opportunity to learn and practice excel with the assistance of our professors. During the first semester, there was a tools and techniques session on the schedule. Despite the fact that our professors were extremely busy, they took the time to extend these sessions and teach us essential analytical tools, which greatly aided us. Overall, we were offered a TECH-focused MBA program, which is a first in India. As a result, not only did the companies that came for Btech placements preferred us but so did the companies that came for IIM placements.
Placement Experience :
Over 90% of my batch was able to find job offers through the on-campus placement drive. Top companies like Google, Graviton Trading, Zomato, Paytm, Deloitte, American Express, IBM, Oracle, DE Shaw, etc participated in our placement drive. The average package offered to us was over 16 lakhs. Also, our placement cell provided us with many kinds of seminars and workshops like pre-placement talks, Interviews, group discussions, online or written tests, and many more.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My MBA program at IIT Jodhpur had a fee structure of 8 lakhs for the entire program, and the institute offers scholarships to both needy and deserving students. I didn't apply for any of them because I could afford my tuition.
Campus Life :
The facilities were excellent. Each department had its own well-equipped labs as well as a lab assistant. Wi-Fi was available throughout the campus, classrooms were air-conditioned, and the college had a number of auditoriums for guest speakers and cultural events. We were also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities to help us develop our overall personalities. Participation in Science and Technology, Photography, Sports, Music, Astronomy, and Films were also among the Institute's extracurricular activities. The activities were organized by the Students Gymkhana, which was divided into seven societies.
