Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum involves core courses in the first year and electives in the second year. The industry exposure is given in the form of internships, student exchange programs, industry visits, field trips, etc. Fundamentals of business and management, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills are included in the industry-relevant curriculum is rigorous and updated always.
Internships Opportunities :
Summer Internships are eight weeks long. The highest stipend in the summer internship of 2021 is INR 105000. The average stipend was 43.5 K.
Placement Experience :
More companies visit the IIT campus for placement and thus good salary offers also. The final placement starts in October and extends to April. College Events :
SMEraQi is the mini business festival of the institute organized in the month of January. ‘उद्योगFEST’ is the IIT Jodhpur’s flagship business festival.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The total fee comes about INR 800000. Per semester fee is about INR 200000. Hostel and mess fees should be paid extra. Tuition fee waivers are given to eligible candidates and reserved category students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Students are given tuition fee waivers based on the CAT percentile for the first semester only. Based on academic performance, students are awarded scholarships of INR 25,000 each in every semester. Merit-cum-Means scholarships are given to EWS candidates.
Campus Life :
There are 9 functional student committees and 7 student clubs working actively on campus. I was a member of Mint Money - The Finance Club and quiz club. Some other clubs are I-Rise Club, Entrepreneurship Cell, MarkTech- Marketing club, etc.
Admission :
The students are admitted to MBA courses based on Common Admission Test (CAT) score, academic profile, work experience, post-graduate degree/professional qualification, gender diversity, and significant achievement in extra-curricular activities. .
Faculty :
More than 100 faculties are regular teachers. In addition, there are visiting professors, adjunct faculty, professors on deputation, scholars-in-residence, advisors, and young faculty associates. All of them are very good at teaching and make the study concepts simple and understandable.
