Remarks :

College management faculties are broadly integrating from industry oriented courses. They support and motivate for the industry placements

Entrance Preview :

I qualified for GATE entrance examination and scored 97 percentile. Subsequently attended an interview and secured admission. I was privileged to receive scholarship as well

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is well weaved with demands and practices of Industries. Projects are supported by well coordinated and network of faculties. I did one of the project for NTPC for bearing vibration, provides immense knowledge and exposure during my college days

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, from my institute I worked for a year CSIR lab Govt. of India at Hyderabad. That was a project to improve fuel efficiency of motor bikes. It involves development of various test facility and samples to be tested in a coordinated and simulated environment

Placement Experience :

Placement is one of the key activity once course completed. IIT Delhi has established itself in the industry which provided well groomed students who contributes immensely to the growth of various sectors like manufacturing, IT, health sector, automobile, hospitality and research.

College Events :

Annual college day celebration, Rendezvous, commonly called as "Rendavu" is one of the biggest event in north India participated by students and media across the regions. Students participates from as far as Himachal, Punjab and Haryana. The nights and events are memorable and still wish to be part of it in upcoming years

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very low compared to infrastructure and facilities provided. System is well practiced by world class facilities and knowledge is to its best for learners. The fee is very as subsidized by the government, Further to support higher education, Govt do provides scholarship for bright students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I received a scholarship from institute of Rs 5000 per month good enough to support lodging, boarding and fees expenses.

Campus Life :

Campus has diversified culture with people from all parts and castes of country. Generally students form group based on the state to which they belong, but others take benefits of increasing their network and learning cross culture best practices. I too visited Jaipur and Chennai along with hostel mates and enjoyed local festival and food.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel and mess facilities are well maintained and grievances sorted out in an amicable manner. Hostel and Mess facilities had student council and represented by student selected by democracy. They represent student concern and have healthy, hygienic and friendly atmosphere

Alumni/Alumna :

Have a good meeting and support from ALumni in various fields and walks of life. IITD Alumni are spread all over the world and comes out for support for any technical discussion

Exam Structure :

There used to be an immense examination pressure as performance is relative grading. A student is always judged based on his performance vis-a-vis to best performer in the class. You are always in pressure for performing in monthly tests, projects and semester exams.

Admission :

I procured the form online and sat in an entrance examination. The all India sound ranking helped me to get interview call from the institute. Post GATE score applied for various institutes. Based on merit received a call from institute to attend interview. It was a wonderful process to pass through the complete process.

Faculty :

Faculties are very experienced, knowledgeable and extensive network with the industries. The best practices of Industry, their day to day challenges and operational issues faced by them are being discussed and sometimes taken as a project or analysed for paper publishing.

Placement Experience:

Being one of the top institute of the nation, it offers very good placement but given the scenario of recession in the tech industry there is some slow down in the hiring in placement too. if I am not able to get the placement at the end of the course then I think I won't face any difficulty getting placement on my own but let's see what happens.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this course is good. Professors are supportive in nature. And one year is for project which help to learn new skills and enhance the previous one help to survive in real world. But in that one year there are some subjects which we have to study but it should not be there it should be completely dedicated to project work. Overall this is a very good course which help to train a student to learn technical part of chemistry or polymers. And there are a lot of scope in this field.

The course workload is heavier, so it would prepare you for real-world work. Courses can be chosen from 2nd semester, so you are free to select courses of your likeness. There would be a minor exam and a major exam and a lot of assignments.
